Your issue may be caused by wireless interference. When there is a wireless device (e.g., wireless LAN) using the same frequency (5.8GHz) near the Soundbar, the wireless connection between the Subwoofer and Surround Speaker could become unstable. This will affect the quality of audio output. Also, please know the maximum wireless signal transmission distance is about 33ft.

But you can do that for half the price. 7.1 surround sound ... Well kind of. But the tiny rear speakers will need to be placed within about a foot of your head if you want to get the typical surround sound effect. The whole thing barely felt like 5.1 let alone 7.1. either buy a cheaper sound bar or spend more money to get one that works as expected. I returned mine after a few days realizing it simply doesn't succeed in what it intends to do.

Salesman said one was not available on that TV. Overall he was the most unhelpful sales I have had dealings with at this store. He ended up recommending this system, did not really want a system just a sound bar, but decided to try it. We hooked it up, could not get it to work. Ask a guy who does car stereos to look at it and he also could not get it to work. Hope it has worked out better for others.

No atmos or earc support

You can choose from modes like Standard, Surround, Game Pro, DTS Virtual:X, or Adaptive Sound mode, which optimizes sound based on each scene and lets you hear voices clearly at low volumes. You can find these by pressing the Sound Mode button on your remote.
You can try optimizing audio performance for your specific content by pressing the SOUND MODE button on your remote, and then selecting the desired sound effect by choosing STANDARD, SURROUND SOUND, GAME, or ADAPTIVE SOUND.
There are two adjustments that can be made to maximize bass from the soundbar and subwoofer:
1) Using the WOOFER button on the remote, you can adjust the level between -6 to +6. To set the subwoofer volume level to 0, press the button in.
2) Adjust the bass control by pressing the SOUND CONTROL button (gear icon) on the remote control, then select BASS to increase the level. You can adjust the volume between -6 to +6 by using the Up/Down buttons.
For precise audio adjustments, you can use the 7-band frequency equalizer to optimize the sound for your room acoustics.

Please know, the HW-Q65T features an LED display on the front of the soundbar that will turn on along with the soundbar. The display shows things like volume, source, or settings upon receiving input from the remote or physical buttons, and will shut off after a brief period of inactivity to avoid distractions when watching your favorite shows or movies. If you cannot see the display, please be sure the soundbar is oriented in the correct position and that the power connection is secure.
