Works with no issues. 5.1 does not happen if you have DirecTv. Keep that in mind. They do not broadcast 5.1. The only problem I ran into was placement for the sub-woofer. 100 watts is pretty low wattage. I wanted it closer to where we sit. Having it across the room is a little lacking. I did notice that most companies skimp on the sub wattage though. I don't understand why. You should double the wattage to what the highs are putting out, then compensate volume. I have the sub volume maxed at this point.

Paired with a 70" Vizio TV, and the wife loves the surround sound. Make sure to put the two speakers in the back of your seating area, as I've seen multiple reviews online with them placed up front next to YNt sound bar.

The sound is real and seems to come from everywhere. No complaints, I love the experience.

The back speakers watching sports gives you the crowd noise which is super cool. The subwoofer gives you the feel of being in a theater. Normally 549 got for 279. Can’t pass that up.

Purchased on sale and was a great value for what I received. Good bass, very direct sound. Rear speakers do have some wiring to "wireless hub"

Surround sound is amazing. The subwoofer creates the perfect deep rumble during movies and the perfect bass for music.

Great quality surround sound out of the two smaller speakers. Rain effects in movies sounds especially great on this. Main sound bar is quite heavy though.

Have you tried the various Sound Modes offered with the HW-Q65T? You can choose from modes like Standard, Surround, Game Pro, DTS Virtual:X, or Adaptive Sound mode, which optimizes sound based on each scene and lets you hear voices clearly at low volumes. You can find these by pressing the Sound Mode button on your remote.

Great sound bar with surround sound

Is much better than I expected! Perfect surround sound. Really easy to set up. From box to operation was about 30 minutes including reading directions and setting up. Could not be happier. One thing to keep in mind….the two satellite surround speakers do connect by wire to a single wireless receiver. So you will need to set the wireless receiver in the back of the room and then know that you will have speaker wires going to the each of the speakers. This was not a big deal for us as I placed the speakers on side tables on either side of a sectional couch so the wires are not seen. It has worked perfectly and I would definitely buy again.

Great sound but not totally wireless rear speakers

Sounds great and setup was a breeze. The soundbar synced to the tv and the rear speakers seamlessly. Be aware the rear speakers are wireless from the main soundbar, but they connect with a wire to a base box, so not totally wireless. The rear base box the rear speakers connect to connegcts wirelessly to the soundbar. I estimate the speaker wire to the rear box to be at least 12 or 13 feet so i was able to separate the rear speakers on two different sides of my basement.

We had a different brand for the sound but it didnt sink up well to the tv. This was easy to follow directions to set up. Would purchase again
