For what i paid it was worth it. but there are some issues. one with hdmi arc. sometimes i have to turn it on and off for it to connect to my tv. and sometimes when I go to increase the volume it does not move. and then all the sudden it maxes out volume. but sound quality is pretty good 7/10. rear speakers are actually loud and make a difference.

Thank you for sharing your experiences with the HW-Q750B Soundbar. I am sorry to see that your initial time spent with the Soundbar has not been ideal.
There are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot your Soundbar.
Please verify that you are running the latest firmware on your TV. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to: Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.
Then, try doing a soft reset, unplug the soundbar from the outlet for roughly 30 seconds and then plug it back in.
Next, with the Soundbar on, press the + & - (Volume UP/DOWN) buttons on the body at the same time for at least 5 seconds. “INIT OK” appears on the display and then the Soundbar is reset.

You do not NEED the smart things app to adjust settings, it just makes it a little easier. You absolutely can use HDR and Dolby atmos together. Q-symphony absolutely does work with atmos (literally designed to enhance atmos effect). I got this on sale for about $570… worth every penny. Especially from $799 original,

You can try manually optimizing your audio experience with the TONE CONTROL button. By pressing the button, you can adjust the volume of the treble or bass sound. The desired item can be adjusted using the Up/Down buttons. This function is enabled in Sound mode excluding in Standard mode. To control the volume of the treble or bass sound, select TREBLE or BASS in Sound Settings, and then adjust the volume between -6~+6 by using the Up/Down buttons. Once the bass level is changed, the woofer level will be also adjusted accordingly.
By pressing the SOUND MODE button, you can select the desired audio mode such as Surround, Game, Standard, Adaptive sound.
• Standard Mode: Outputs the original sound.
• Surround Mode: Provides a wider sound field than standard.
• Game Mode: Provides stereoscopic sound to immerse you in the action while gaming.
• Adaptive Sound Mode: Analyzes the content in real time and automatically provides the optimal sound field based on the characteristics of the content.

The origional bar had issues. It was replacsd and no more issues. Once replaced the sound is the second best surround sound set up in the house. The three stars are for samsung support. Best buy and this sound bar gets 5 stars...

Also the side speakers were extremely low with and even at the maximum level you barely noticed them. The soubd quality overall was good, great sharp tweeter and midrange quality however, you are left with a feeling of what it could have been with a few adjustment on the manufacturer's side.

Please know, in addition to the available sound modes, your soundbar features a wide range of other customization options accessed with the remote. Use the steps below to further optimize the sound to your personal preference:
You can adjust the Treble and Bass by pressing the TONE CONTROL button then use the Up/Down buttons to adjust the level.
With the Surround Speakers connected, use the CH LEVEL button and select REAR LEVEL. From there, use the Up/Down buttons to adjust the volume within a -6 to +6 range. After you have adjusted the volume levels of your rear speakers, please note that you will want to use either Surround, Adaptive, or Game Sound Modes. These will send the proper audio channels to your rear speakers improving your overall experience. If your TV is set to Standard it may not send the correct rear channels.
If you would like louder (or softer) bass from your subwoofer, you can adjust the level by rocking the WOOFER button on the soundbar remote, and then adjusting the level from -6 to +6. To set the subwoofer volume level to 0, press the button in.
