    BUYER BEWARE! CAUTION!!!!

    I bought this Samsung Surround Sound giving Samsung a second chance after my first Samsung Sound screwed up! After doing my research and looking at any and all reviews everything I saw said it was a good Surround Sound. So I bought it in December 2022 hoping this Samsung would act right and not mess up. I took it out of the box and it was a easy setup and it sounded good and I was so happy with it until March 2023 when the soundbar started acting up a little bit but I was going to let that slide cause it wasn't going to mess anything up. BUT then 1 of the small speakers (satellite speaker) started crackling and I never turn it up to loud to blow a speaker cause the surround sound system is in my bedroom. Before I called I tried any and all troubleshooting steps. Then I called them. When I called Samsung over the speaker knowing its under the 1 year manufacturers warranty they first tried to claim the speakers did not come with that soundbar. And from that point on they have given me every excuse and the phone calls have lasted 1.5 hours to 2 hours long. It is June 28th, 2023 when I am writing this review. I started calling at the very beginning of April 2023 and I have called 5 times and to this point they are still giving me every excuse so they don't have to send me a replacement speaker cause they said the speaker cant be fixed! I am going to be a thorn in there side. I am going to keep calling until they honor there warranty. I want a fully working Surround Sound that I paid for. Thats not to much to ask! Think long and hard before you buy. After giving Samsung a 2nd chance, the blew it!

      Check your speaker cables to make sure that they are not pushed too far in to the back of the rear speaker. If the exposed wire is not placed correctly within the clamps, it can cause static or interference when using the rear speakers.

    Great home theater sound package

    Moved from a Polk bar/sub combo to this unit. Tremendous difference in the sound and a huge bass upgrade. The rear speakers with wireless module complete the perfect package without having to spend $1200-1500

    Simple setup, great value, flawless functionality, and a clear improvement on the older Samsung sound bar and sub I replaced. I love just using it as a stereo to play Spotify from my smartphone.

    AVOID OPEN BOX!!!

    Purchased the "Excellent" open box item and recieved an item closer to "Fair". Missing HDMI cable and hardware and had several scratches and scrapes. Had to pick up from a distant store since it was the only one available. Tried to settle the issue at my local store, but they did not help and said i had to go to the store it was purchased. I tried to call that store before having to drive all the way out there, only to realize that the phone numbers listed direct you to an automated line and the live support is only from overseas. I tried to explain the situation to support, but they did not understand and just wasted my time. I was lookimg to just do a simple price adjustment to match the condition of the item, but now my only option is to just return it. Worst experience dealing with Best Buy "customer support".

    I bought a open box. everything sound pretty good but the remote didn’t work. I took the unit back and they replaced with a brand new unit now the rear speakers wouldn’t work. Plus the remote didn’t work. I’ll never buy this brand again

    This Soundbar is the worst I’ve ever bought

    The worst Soundbar I’ve ever purchased and the most expensive. Call me crazy, but when I pay $800 for a Soundbar I would think it would be able to do the simple task of playing sound through it. Technically it does play sounds from my Samsung TV, but only about 60% of the time. It is plagued with issues, randomly disconnects and stops working for no reason at all. When we want to sit down and watch TV at night, it is a regular occurrence to notice that the sound is playing from the TV instead of the Soundbar.

    Vary poor description of excellent open box

    This was an opened box excellent purchase, but after connecting it the volume would jump. After sending it to Samsung repair center. They told me of a broken volume control panel. Will not purchase again this way. Excellent no, broken yes.

    Does not work very well— loud but not clear and the side speakers do not create good surround sound… also, I did not realize they were wired, with short wires.

      Please know, in addition to the available sound modes, your soundbar features a wide range of other customization options accessed with the remote. Use the steps below to further optimize the sound to your personal preference:

      You can adjust the Treble and Bass by pressing the TONE CONTROL button then use the Up/Down buttons to adjust the level.

      With the Surround Speakers connected, use the CH LEVEL button and select REAR LEVEL. From there, use the Up/Down buttons to adjust the volume within a -6 to +6 range.

      If you would like louder (or softer) bass from your subwoofer, you can adjust the level by rocking the WOOFER button on the soundbar remote, and then adjusting the level from -6 to +6. To set the subwoofer volume level to 0, press the button in.

      With the sound mode set to Standard, press and hold the Sound Control button for about 5 seconds to adjust the sound for each frequency band for precise audio adjustments. 150Hz, 300Hz, 600Hz, 1.2kHz, 2.5kHz, 5kHz, and 10kHz are selectable using the Left/Right buttons and each can be adjusted to a setting between -6 to +6 using the Up/Down buttons.

      Hi PabloFG,

      Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding connection issues with the rear speakers.

      Updating the firmware on your HW-Q750B Soundbar gives you all the benefits of the latest improvements. You can update the Soundbar by connecting the USB drive that contains the update firmware to the SERVICE port of the Soundbar.

      1.Go to the Samsung Electronics website (www.samsung.com) → click on the “Support” option in the upper right corner.
      2.Click on “Manuals & Software” from the pop-up list > TVs & Home Theater > Home Theater > Select your model
      2. Download the firmware file (USB type).
      3. Unzip the file to create a folder with the file name.
      4. Store the created folder in a USB and then connect it to the Soundbar.
      5. A sequence of “UPDATE” > “BYE” > “ON” will appear on the display 3 times. This will take around 6 minutes.
      - During update, do not turn it off or remove the USB.
      - If “UPDATE” does not appear on the display window, remove the power cord from the Soundbar and then reconnect it.
      - When the latest version is installed, no update is performed.
      - Depending on the USB type, update may not be supported.
      6. After the 3 cycles are complete, the Soundbar will restart and last source used will appear on the display for about 20 seconds and then it will go off (“UPDATE” > “BYE” > “ON”) 3 times “D.IN” > off

      You can also try doing a HARD RESET on the soundbar. Make sure the soundbar is OFF, then press/hold the + and - Volume buttons on the bar itself. After a short time you will see INIT OK on the LED display. This will reset all of the settings but will not disconnect your subwoofer.
