This is a really nice soundbar! It is my first soundbar; I have always had a receiver and speaker setup, and really fine-tuned that to my liking. Certainly, with the soundbar you lose out on additional ports and the flexibility to easily change modes, incrementally change each speaker, etc. That said, we really wanted to "clean up" the look of our tv console and modify our room setup; and eliminating the receiver, center speaker, and both front speakers with the soundbar was really nice, and then add in the fact that the rear speakers and subwoofer are wireless, and you have a very sharp, clean looking setup. The sound is actually very good (I was nervous), though I did increase the volume coming out of the rear speakers and decreased the volume coming out of the front, as I like hearing more surround than what came standard. It can get VERY loud, though not as much bass as I hoped for (though maybe I was spoiled a bit with my 12" Klipsch reference sub...). All-in-all a really great soundbar, and it paired easily with my Samsung QN90B tv. I don't know that I'd pay full-price for it (upgrade to the 990?), but it was a great deal on sale.

This is an excellent sound bar in this price range. It's easy to set up and use with the Smart Things app. I believe you would have to spend at least $1,000 more to get any noticeable sound improvement with another product.

Overall, great sound. I decided to replace a dated 5.1 component system so I could upgrade to Atmos and I'm generally pleased with the experience and love the reduced clutter.
The bass (actually, LFE) can get a bit boomy, especially if the SW is placed near a corner. Unfortunately I don't have many placement options due to room layout.
As another reviewer has noted, the sound levels work pretty good out of the box with everything set to 0 gain. I have not yet experimented with frequency band equalization because I can't figure out how to drill into those settings. The overall remote / setting process could benefit from an improved UI.
I have been unable to operate the soundbar using HDMI arc from Samsung TV. Granted it's about a 6 year old TV, but HDMI arc did work fine with my older 5.1 receiver in DTS mode. So I'm currently using the only HDMI input in the soundbar for my Chromecast, which leaves me unable to play BlueRay disks. Jury is still out on whether I buy a different soundbar with more inputs or built-in Chromecast, or a new TV to fix that problem.
I simply cannot get it to connect to the SmartThings app. I was hoping this would allow a more intuitive UI to adjust system settings. The soundbar and my iPhone are both running most up to date software and it simply won't work. The app "sees" the soundbar but won't connect to it. The User manuals are not helpful when it comes to troubleshooting this problem. I have not yet contacted Samsung because I suspect that will be frustrating as well.

Hi Skibum,
Follow this link to find the full manual that is available for you to download, you can also use these steps below to help set up your Soundbar with your TV. https://downloadcenter.samsung.com/content/UM/202208/20220801035134001/AH81-15482A-00_FM_HW-Q910B%20Q750B_ZA_ENG_220203.0.pdf
1. With the Soundbar and TV turned off, connect the HDMI cable. 2. Turn on the Soundbar and TV. 3. “TV ARC” appears in the display window of the Soundbar main unit and the Soundbar plays TV sound. • When the TV sound is not output, press the (Multi Function) / (Source) button at the top of the Soundbar or the (Source) button on the remote control to select the “D.IN” mode. The screen displays “D.IN” and “TV ARC” in sequence, and TV sound is played. • When connecting a TV that supports the eARC function, “eARC” appears on the display and the sound is heard. • To connect with eARC, the eARC function in the TV menu should be set to On. Refer to the TV user manual for details on setting. (e.g. Samsung TV : Home - Menu - Settings - All Settings - Sound - Expert Settings - HDMI-eARC Mode (Auto)) • If “TV ARC” does not appear in the display window of the Soundbar main unit, confirm that the HDMI cable is connected to the correct port. • Use the volume buttons on the TV’s remote control to change the volume on the Soundbar.
NOTE • When you connect the TV that supports the HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel) to the Soundbar with an HDMI cable, you can transmit the digital video and audio data without connecting a separate optical cable. • We recommend you use a coreless HDMI cable if possible. If you use a cored HDMI cable, use one whose diameter is less than 0.55 inches (14mm). • This function is not available if the HDMI cable does not support ARC. • When the audio in a broadcast is encoded in Dolby Digital and the “Digital Output Audio Format” on your TV is set to PCM, we recommend that you change the setting to Dolby Digital. When the setting on the TV is changed, you will experience better sound quality. (The TV menu may use different words for Dolby Digital and PCM depending on the TV manufacturer.) • The ARC/eARC protocols support Dolby Atmos.

I bought this to go along with the purchase of the Samsung QN85 inch TV. The sound is great and enhances the TV. I was looking at the Q750 Series, glad we made the upgrade the sound is awesome, like you're really in the theater.
Read several reviews about the remote. I did not have any problems, easy operation, there is no keypad.
The only CON I would have is the wall mounting kit. The kit provided is for the sound bar, there is no wall mounting kit for the two rear speakers, an additional purchase is required. Purchased the Rocketfish 2pk Speaker mount Kit.

The system sounds great and well made. I think it sounded more balanced than the JBL 9.1.4 system but with an EQ and speakers that didnt need to recharge. The problem for me was the power outlet requirement for the satellite speakers. That was it though. I could heat dialogue just fine although I had to turn up the bass to max for the most part to feel it. Great setup with decent bells and whistles for the sale price of 1k. Not a fan if it were 1500 though. Trying the Nakamichi 9.2.4bl next.

Excellent sound quality. Having trouble connecting multiple Bluetooth devices, not much customer support. We have an Amazon echo connected via Bluetooth so we can use another echo for multi room music. I haven't tried using built in Alexa connected to our wireless system, but my experience is you can't combine Amazon and third party Alexa devices in groups for listening in multiple rooms. Great bass quality, clean sound, and surround speakers are high quality. One annoying thing is no mounting screws are provided.

I have to start this review by thanking Nathan at the Glen Burnie store for helping me in my selecting this soundbar. The soundbar is extremely easy to set up, I replaced my 5.1 system with the HW-Q930B/ZA and finally achieved the real sounds of the movie theaters. The sound is clean, and the best part is that each speaker can be adjusted and programed using the remote control for your personal preference. Highly recommend the Samsung soundbar.

I bought this in November 2022 (and yes, it's 2024). I wanted to give it AMPLE time to test thoroughly, and see how it stands-up. Honestly, for the cost, you're better off going with a Sonos System.
PROS: Great Sound. Wireless. Subwoofer is good!}
CONS: ALWAYS. DROPS. CONNECTIONS.
That's the big one. At least 4-5 times per week the sound will just stop working. We have to go into the TV settings, resync the connection to the soundbar under settings in the TV. Then, sometimes we just have to turn off the soundbar, turn it on again, and then resync with the TV.
It's a regular hassle, and for the money you pay, you should not have to do that. I would not recommend this. High cost. Lots of problems. If I had known I'd have these issues, would have never bought.

Sounds absolutely amazing. I just couldn't give it 5 stars due to the bulkiness of the subwoofer. I wish that we'd get away from this and become more streamlined with the same sound power but more cost effective. I also wish there was a guide given as to how what enhanced features are now available when you pair with a Samsung television. Trial and error shouldn't be an option to figure this out!

Amazing sound system. Make sure that the sound bar is placed on furniture that is at least 36” in height so you can listen to sound bar at ear level. The clarity is amazing, the wireless subwoofer and rear speakers are perfect and the adaptive sound feature is the next level in surround sound. This system easily out preforms Sonic Arc Bar and costs $700 less! You won’t be disappointed with this item and the bass will shake your living room! This unit can only be purchased at Best Buy.

I came to pick up a sound bar i purchased online which was open box excellent condition.
On their website it says excellent condition means no scratches or dents and includes all accessories.
I opened the box at the store to check if it has everything, there were 3 power cables missing and no remote.
They said thats the way it is even if its excellent condition which is not true and you can take it or leave it.
After arguing with the worker the manager came and brought me 3 power cables and a remote which were not from the manufacturer. Because the power cables she gave me are not the right angle the sound bar cant be placed flat on the tv stand and the rear speakers have a similar issue. Now i have to buy 3 cables which cost me $40 extra.
Luckily the sound bar is usable with an app so i can make it work without the remote.
After a day of using it i noticed there's a dent on the front of the sound bar.
Make sure you check everything you buy there, very bad customer service.
The sound bar itself is very good, lots of bass and also clear sound.

I now enjoy watch movies and shows much more on my 55inch Sony TV. This Samsung soundbar make it a whole new experience. The sounds quality is fantastic, and it was fairly easy to install. The side speakers make a great impact on the sounds in the room and the bass unit adds the perfect feel, not too booming, just a great feel. I am so glad I made this purchase.

This soundbar is excellent sounds very good. Does great mids and low bass is crisp. Great integration with Samsung TV. Only reason it got 3 stars is that it does very poor eARC integration with my LG TV and Apple 4K (atmos). The sound bar has a hard time in “auto” switching between atmos and 5.1. Also, it does not automatically compensate therefore making some formats either louder or lower. So there’s a continual need to figit with settings. Eg the “voice” has to be augmented when changing to TV programming.
However when you wanna watch a Atmos content it definitively performs well.
Samsungs does a poor job at keeping the software updates necessary for integration. Bose eg its plug and play, Samsung is more difficult.
Overall great sound for the price.
