Sound is good for what it is intended for. TV in bedroom needed some sound improvements and it fit the bill.

Not what I expected or wanted

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The first issue is that there is no visible information available on the soundbar for selecting the various features. This option is only available on a phone using a downloadable app. This brings me to the second issue, Even though all of the products (TV, phone, soundbar) I use are Samsung products, my phone is an older model and the app will not run on the phone. So all options had to be manually selected and fiddled with pushing buttons on the soundbar. The last issue is controlling the volume. I tried to take advantage of the extended features, but regardless of the combinations I selected, it resulted in the sound of the TV ads being very loud which meant that manual intervention was necessary to adjust the volume down and then adjust it up again when the TV program began. I finally set the speaker option to Standard mode with every other option turned off and this seems to be an acceptable alternative, but underutilized the soundbars extended features. In the end, It is better than the TV speakers but not what I wanted or expected. Shame on Samsung for putting out such an inferior product along with their on-line and actual persons support which was also useless.
