The battery life os horrible i can only vaccum for 15 min and after battery nèeds to be recharged very upset i spent to mich money on this vaccum

Samsung - Jet™ 60 Pet Cordless Stick Vacuum review is mixed for me. It came in a nice sturdy box and was packaged pretty well except the main unit should have been protected by Styrofoam or bubble wrap to protect it instead of thin wrap. The 4 accessory pieces were all individually packaged in plastic bags protected under cardboard. So let’s start with the instructions – how do you use this, charge the battery, mount the charger, put it all together… well that part for me was not good at all – a picture guide that was difficult to follow. Thankfully there are a few QR codes and verbiage following the picture guides – should have put the verbiage and QR codes first, and the picture guide within or following – backwards if you ask me. Anyway, I figured it all out while grumbling and using a few of the QR short videos to get started. You have to charge the battery about 2 hrs for a full charge, and then it only lasts between 20-40 minutes. You can use the wall mount piece and fold the attachment holder to make a flat surface to charge the battery, or you can actually mount that piece to the wall and charge from there. Which leads me to this…. The wall mount option is nice only if you actually have a place on wall with an electrical outlet near the area! I don’t so that is not going to work for me, and I like to stand my vacuums up in my utility closet – that is not happening with this vacuum because it doesn’t actually stand on its own! That is a big CON for me with any vacuum – it needs to stand on its own! The Dustbin and filters are easy enough to disassemble to clean, however they are small – as this is a smaller cordless vacuum. It fills up quickly with cat hair when vacuuming our family room and is more difficult to use in this room as there is a higher pile carpet here. The bedrooms have a low pile so it is easier to maneuver there, as it is on the bare floor areas. So, this is a small lightweight cordless vacuum that is good for smaller areas – for a backup cordless or corded vacuum. It is not as good as another branded cordless vacuum that I own and love, and the price is higher than others on the market that I think are much better. I would ONLY recommend it to someone who doesn’t care about price point but wanted a vacuum that can be hung on a mount in a laundry room and mainly used for smaller areas. This is not something I feel would be a great “main” vacuum.

This is my second Samsung stick vacuum. I have been using a Jet 75 for over a year and absolutely love it for bare floors and carpets. So how does the Jet 60 Pet compare. This Pet 60 model comes with the Jet Fit Brush for floors, and a mini motorized upholstery head for furniture and stairs. Also included are a multifunction brush and a crevice tool. This Model 60 is lighter to carry and lighter in the hand than the 75. That weight difference is in the battery weight and the brush head. However I find neither model very heavy. As for cleaning, this 60 model does well on smooth floors and good on carpet. I actually received just slightly over 23 minutes of continuous cleaning using the motorized Jet Fit Brush with the motor set at the medium (default) speed. I find the Medium speed is perfect for most cleaning and if something doesn’t pick up I just switch it to High for a moment and then back to Medium to prolong the battery. The power button and speed controls are right at your thumb position and easy to use. This model does not include the electronic display to show which speed was selected. The Model 75 does include an electronic display. I was able to cover most of the floors (both carpet and hard) in my 2 story home including the carpeted stairs in the 23 minutes before it stopped from a dead battery. Recharge time is roughly 3-3.5 hours to full charge. The Jet Fit brush on the model 60 is light in weight and uses a revolving bristled brush with 2 rows of bristles. It works well but it does collect hairs and threads around the bristles. I actually had to remove the roller and use scissors to cut the hairs and threads off the brush after two uses. It’s not hard to remove the roller, it’s just another hassle. Comparing it to the Turbo Action Brush on my 75 model, I rarely have to clean the brush roller because of its different design using 4 rows of shorter bristles which also seem to pick up better than this model. The wall bracket which not only holds the vacuum but also charges it makes this vacuum easy to grab and use. Just return it to the bracket so it’s ready for the next cleaning. If you don’t have wall space, use the included charger on a shelf or table to charge the battery after you remove it from the vacuum. It’s not as convenient as hanging the unit on the wall bracket, but still not a big issue. The dust bin is easy to remove and empty into the garbage can. If you are afraid of the dust created from dumping into your garbage can, just slide a plastic grocery bag over the container and flip it upside down while holding the bag around the container. It makes for a no mess no dust way to empty the container. Conclusion: This is a good lightweight stick vacuum at the lowest price point of the Samsung Jet series. It works well and is more than adequate for most cleaning on bare floors, carpet, furniture, and stairs. The 20 plus minutes of run time on Medium is adequate, but you may need to split your cleaning up and recharge. The brush roll does collect hairs and could be a bigger issue with Pet hair. If that is a concern, step up to the Samsung Jet 75 series that utilize a Turbo Action brush which is less prone to wrap hair and picks up debris a little better. Keep in mind the 75 will also offer a longer run time due to its larger battery and a slightly more powerful motor.

This has been one of the most lightweight vacuums I have ever owned and it quick became my favorite vacuum to use. Its easy to maneuver around the house with no issues whatsoever. It works very well on tile floors picking up all debris. This also has a three powerful suction levels and they all do an awesome job on floors. I notice that the higher the suction power the more it will drain the battery fast. Looks like in less than an hour I have a full charge. The vacuum comes with its charging wall mount which also holds 2 of its 3 attachments. In my opinion this is very convenient to have all you need in one place. The attachments are very useful to get into places the regular motorhead doesn't. The filter is washable as well as the dust bin. The cleaning of the brush is very simple and it comes out easily. This vacuum is definitely worth every penny. It does an amazing job at cleaning and doing what is supposed to do. If you are in the market for a lightweight yet powerful machine this is the one.

The Samsung Jet 60 Pet Cordless Stick Vacuum is really lightweight and easy to use with only one hand. It comes with lots of accessories making it very versatile. All of the attachments have a button-click system making it very easy to attach or unattach the different accessories on the fly, so there’s no delay in your cleaning. The vacuum has adjustable suction power and decent suction even on lowest setting, but has even more power when you need it. This vacuum is absolutely great for cleaning those hard to reach places both high and low such as corners, under furniture, air vents, ceiling fans, and window blinds. The Jet 60 is convenient for vacuuming your car. For me, the greatest application for the Jet 60 is vacuuming the stairs. Not having to drag a full sized vacuum up and down the stairs is very nice. The product package states that the battery lasts up to 40 minutes. But when I use it on lowest power setting, I get about 24 minutes before the battery gives out. On full suction power, I only get around 6 minutes of charge. The battery charges quite slowly. After a small job of just a few minutes it takes around half an hour to recharge fully and after a job that depletes the battery completely it takes several hours to recharge fully. This means that it’s really not useful for a whole house cleaning, for that you probably need a corded vacuum. But if you had a small apartment or dorm room it might work fine. Otherwise, it’s mainly useful for spot cleaning and small cleanup jobs like vacuuming the stairs or your car. The dust collection bin is a reasonable size given the battery life, you are likely to run down the battery before the bin is full. The bin consists of 3 parts, one of which is a HEPA filter, and is easy to detach, empty, and clean by rinsing with water. There is a jet of air that comes out of both sides of the vacuum. I mention it because I have experienced these jets blowing dust up into the air while cleaning in especially dusty areas or when vacuuming near loose papers, like on a desk, the papers can get blown around. Overall, the Samsun Jet 60 works quite well, but my biggest complaint is the lack of battery life. I’ve owned other cordless vacuums and getting around 24 minutes of charge time is actually pretty good in comparison.

This was purchased as a gift after having excellent success with mine. The vacuum will not stay charged for longer than 10 minutes. I am currently awaiting a Samsung technician to contact me about fixing the item. I am very disappointed in this purchase. Hopefully, it will be a simple fix of a battery, but it’s currently unknown.

This is the best all around vacuum cleaner I’ve ever used, for many reasons that I’ll explain here. I already have one cleaner at home which is really good for hardwood floors, another which works best on carpets. A third can do both, but when you switch from hardwood to carpet, you need to make adjustments to its settings. This Samsung does both without adjusting anything, In fact, there’s nothing to adjust. You only have two controls, one to turn on the machine and another to change speed. There’s also no ‘trigger’ to hold down. It felt weird at first, it not being there, but soon I realized that without having to hold down a trigger, it’s far less tiring on your hand. It has a long pipe, so its really good at cleaning under furniture that other cleaners would need a special attachment for. The Pet 60 is really light, quiet and very maneuverable too. It weighs just 5 pounds. Because of this I was afraid it wouldn’t vacuum as effectively as my other cleaners but I was wrong, comparisons with my heavier cleaners showed the Samsung did quite well. Emptying the dirt cup is not quite as simple as a Dyson, but it’s easier than most others. You just click and pull off the clear plastic cup, unscrew the filter and empty the dirt in the trash. You can then clean the cup under the sink if you like. Dry and reassemble and snap back on the cleaner. The filter is washable too, but you need to let it totally dry around 24 hours before putting it back on. I was happy that the dust cup is bigger most other cleaners, so you need to empty it less often. It comes with just three accessories. A small, motorized head perfect for stairs, an extension crevice tool, and combination tool with a brush head which I use for getting small crumbs out of the keyboard I’m typing this on. 😊 Two things on the negative side, since no product is perfect. Samsung says the battery lasts up to 40 minutes, but that’s on low power and not using a power head. In the real world, running the vacuum continually on high speed with the motorized head, I received less than 7 minutes of power. The good news is that the medium speed, which is the default speed whenever you turn it on, is adequate for almost all jobs, and it’ll run 20 to 30 minutes before stopping. Because of this, this vacuum cleaner would probably be best for intermittent cleaning, like vacuuming a room or two at a time, as opposed to trying to clean a whole house. When the battery dies and the unit stops, it takes about 2 ½ hours to fully charge it back up. Also, an LED to light up the floor as you clean would really have been a nice addition. But bottom line, the Pet 60 is light, powerful, and really easy to handle. It costs much less than a similar Dyson, and for most people it would be everything you’d need.

This is a highly rated stick vacuum, which is why I purchased it, but either it's overrated or this one if broken or malfunctioning, because a dirt devil hand vac is more effective than the one I received. I will be returning.
