    Lightweight and Versatile Cordless Vacuum

The Samsung Jet 60 Pet Cordless Stick Vacuum is really lightweight and easy to use with only one hand. It comes with lots of accessories making it very versatile. All of the attachments have a button-click system making it very easy to attach or unattach the different accessories on the fly, so there’s no delay in your cleaning. The vacuum has adjustable suction power and decent suction even on lowest setting, but has even more power when you need it. This vacuum is absolutely great for cleaning those hard to reach places both high and low such as corners, under furniture, air vents, ceiling fans, and window blinds. The Jet 60 is convenient for vacuuming your car. For me, the greatest application for the Jet 60 is vacuuming the stairs. Not having to drag a full sized vacuum up and down the stairs is very nice. The product package states that the battery lasts up to 40 minutes. But when I use it on lowest power setting, I get about 24 minutes before the battery gives out. On full suction power, I only get around 6 minutes of charge. The battery charges quite slowly. After a small job of just a few minutes it takes around half an hour to recharge fully and after a job that depletes the battery completely it takes several hours to recharge fully. This means that it’s really not useful for a whole house cleaning, for that you probably need a corded vacuum. But if you had a small apartment or dorm room it might work fine. Otherwise, it’s mainly useful for spot cleaning and small cleanup jobs like vacuuming the stairs or your car. The dust collection bin is a reasonable size given the battery life, you are likely to run down the battery before the bin is full. The bin consists of 3 parts, one of which is a HEPA filter, and is easy to detach, empty, and clean by rinsing with water. There is a jet of air that comes out of both sides of the vacuum. I mention it because I have experienced these jets blowing dust up into the air while cleaning in especially dusty areas or when vacuuming near loose papers, like on a desk, the papers can get blown around. Overall, the Samsun Jet 60 works quite well, but my biggest complaint is the lack of battery life. I’ve owned other cordless vacuums and getting around 24 minutes of charge time is actually pretty good in comparison.

This was purchased as a gift after having excellent success with mine. The vacuum will not stay charged for longer than 10 minutes. I am currently awaiting a Samsung technician to contact me about fixing the item. I am very disappointed in this purchase. Hopefully, it will be a simple fix of a battery, but it’s currently unknown.

    My New Favorite Vacuum

This is the best all around vacuum cleaner I’ve ever used, for many reasons that I’ll explain here. I already have one cleaner at home which is really good for hardwood floors, another which works best on carpets. A third can do both, but when you switch from hardwood to carpet, you need to make adjustments to its settings. This Samsung does both without adjusting anything, In fact, there’s nothing to adjust. You only have two controls, one to turn on the machine and another to change speed. There’s also no ‘trigger’ to hold down. It felt weird at first, it not being there, but soon I realized that without having to hold down a trigger, it’s far less tiring on your hand. It has a long pipe, so its really good at cleaning under furniture that other cleaners would need a special attachment for. The Pet 60 is really light, quiet and very maneuverable too. It weighs just 5 pounds. Because of this I was afraid it wouldn’t vacuum as effectively as my other cleaners but I was wrong, comparisons with my heavier cleaners showed the Samsung did quite well. Emptying the dirt cup is not quite as simple as a Dyson, but it’s easier than most others. You just click and pull off the clear plastic cup, unscrew the filter and empty the dirt in the trash. You can then clean the cup under the sink if you like. Dry and reassemble and snap back on the cleaner. The filter is washable too, but you need to let it totally dry around 24 hours before putting it back on. I was happy that the dust cup is bigger most other cleaners, so you need to empty it less often. It comes with just three accessories. A small, motorized head perfect for stairs, an extension crevice tool, and combination tool with a brush head which I use for getting small crumbs out of the keyboard I’m typing this on. 😊 Two things on the negative side, since no product is perfect. Samsung says the battery lasts up to 40 minutes, but that’s on low power and not using a power head. In the real world, running the vacuum continually on high speed with the motorized head, I received less than 7 minutes of power. The good news is that the medium speed, which is the default speed whenever you turn it on, is adequate for almost all jobs, and it’ll run 20 to 30 minutes before stopping. Because of this, this vacuum cleaner would probably be best for intermittent cleaning, like vacuuming a room or two at a time, as opposed to trying to clean a whole house. When the battery dies and the unit stops, it takes about 2 ½ hours to fully charge it back up. Also, an LED to light up the floor as you clean would really have been a nice addition. But bottom line, the Pet 60 is light, powerful, and really easy to handle. It costs much less than a similar Dyson, and for most people it would be everything you’d need.

The Samsung Jet 60 Pet Cordless Stick Vacuum is a really nice looking piece of equipment. It includes everything you need except an extra battery. The battery life is okay. It is rather short when using it on high the whole time which is about 20 minutes. If you use it on low, it picks up well on laminate flooring or ceramic tile except in the grout lines. To pick up on carpet it needs to be used on high to really pick up well. When on the high setting, it has plenty of suction and picks up dirt, dust and dog hair extremely well. It also has a low profile head which allows me to vacuum well under furniture. It is also more lightweight than most other stick vacs I've tried with this much suction. The beater bar also seems like a better design where you can remove it to clean off hair and thread that bind it. It is a little more noisy than our other stick vac that we use most but still quieter than other brands I've tried. The included wall mount and charger are well designed so that I can hang the vac on it to charge as well as put the attachments on the wall mount as well. No need to find a place to store the attachments like others I've used. A really nice part of the design is that the attachments are easily connected and disconnected by pushing a release button where on some vacs you have trouble switching these. This connect feature also works on the wall mount to connect the attachements there as well.

This is a highly rated stick vacuum, which is why I purchased it, but either it's overrated or this one if broken or malfunctioning, because a dirt devil hand vac is more effective than the one I received. I will be returning.

It held up to what I’d think a Samsung quality product should be. I have been a Samsung buyer for many, many years. From tv’s to kitchen appliances down to Samsung cell phones and surround sounds. Out of the box my first thought was how pretty this new vacuum was! Haha. After taking off all the plastic film, I dove right in for the battery which had very little charge as expected right out of the box. It also came with a smaller attachment head for use on I’d say stairs or furniture for sure. It also came with the thin edging tool attachment as well. The battery seemed quite heavy and would only plug into the charging base while on the vacuum. I love the fact, now that we’ve actually mounted it to a wall, that the base holds the attachments as well as secures the vacuum when it’s hung to charge. All of the attachments click on and off with the touch of a button. The power button is on the handle with a + and - sign to increase or decrease the power as you vacuum. When turning it on, I immediately thought of a jet engine with the way it sounded. You can definitely feel the suction power when on carpet and I used it on the higher setting when on the carpet. I couldn’t believe the amount of hair it picked up on what I thought was “clean” carpet. When cleaning the kitchen and bathroom floors I was able to use the low setting which was perfect for a “sweeper”. The vacuum is very light and easy to maneuver also. I was able to vacuum on high for a little over 16 mins and was able to continue with the tiled floors on the low setting for maybe 11-13 additional minutes. The highest mode is definitely amazing and will pick up all the hair on your carpets but don’t expect to use it very long on that setting before the battery needs charged. I used the edging tool and the smaller vacuum head attachment in my car and WOW!! My floor mats looked so nice and fluffy after. If you need a vacuum with suction, this is a great choice that is lightweight, easy to break down from a standard vacuum size to a portable mini vacuum. So far, I’m very pleased with this unit as I expected I would be. Samsung delivered once more!

Good cordless stick vac for quick cleaning

It seems that our family likes cordless stick vacs. They do seem to be very handy to have around for quick floor cleaning in between the deeper cleanings (when we use our canister vacuum), especially with our three cats. We have been using two cordless stick vacs over the past three years, a Samsung Jet 70 Pet and another one from a big-name vacuum company. And since between the two we had, the batteries never lasted long enough on singe charges to get all the floors done, we decided to get another one. Although I had mixed feelings about the Samsung Jet 70 (but we still use it quite a bit), I felt like giving the Samsung Jet 60 Pet Cordless Stick Vacuum a try to see what improvements may have been made in the last couple of years. The Jet 60 is Samsung's current entry-level cordless stick vac model (with 70, 90, and Bespoke levels rounding things out), and the Pet version is the highest 60 version (well, of two, which it just includes more attachments), Overall, the design is pretty much exactly the same. The only difference is the tube being a bit thinner overall on the new Jet 60 (just the outside, the inside is the same diameter). And the Jet 60 comes with a bit smaller, differently designed motorized brush head (the Jet Fit Brush). I'm not sure what kind of a difference it makes, but the bristle rows are not angled as much. I do like the smaller design, and it is a bit quieter than the 70's Turbo Action Brush, but the bristles use seem to get fur and (and my wife's long) hair entangled around it more quickly (I had to remove and clean it just after the first time using it). At least the way the roller is removed makes it very easy to get out and remove the fur and hair (slide a little lever on the side and it pops right out). It also comes with several accessories that can be used with or without the main 27" tube: a long reach crevice tool (that extends another 6.5"), a combination tool (sliding dusting brush), and a mini motorized tool. The mini motorized tool is still the same design as the older one, which I was hoping would be a little better this time around. With the way it was designed, the rotating brush really doesn't come in contact with the surface (it has some plastic guards). While it was eventually able to get most of the embedded cat fur in the cat trees (that they seem to spend a lot of time in), I had to use the Max section mode (more on the modes in a moment). The motor is similar, but there may be some changes with it as the sound at the differeny suction levels are a little different pitch. At Mid, it sound a little quieter overall, but that may also be attributed to the different, smaller motorized brush head. The power is still decent enough to get the dust and fur around, but as with most rechargeable vacuums, the higher the power level, the less time you have to run (more or later). There are two suction control buttons, to go between Min, Mid and Max, but there is no display to tell which mode is active. The removable (which is still a plus) battery is still the same capacity (21.6V/1.6Ah) as the older Jet 70 (was hoping it would be at least a little more), and will last for up to 40 minutes, but when only running on Min and probably only hard flooring. When running on Max and using the mini motorized tool, I found that it only ran for about 7-8 minutes. Mid will probably get about 15-20 minutes or so. Now, you could buy an extra battery to swap out, but for the price, I think waiting to recharge isn't that bad. The charging dock is wall-mountable and can keep two accessories attached. When mounted, you can place the whole vacuum head in to charge the battery, or you can remove the battery and charge it by itself (which could be handy if you do not have a place to mount the dock). If not mounting, the accessory holder flips to the back so the charging dock on a table or counter and still store the two accessories. One thing I was hoping would be a bit better this time was the packaging protection around the motor head, but unfortunately, I was still disappointed. There was still no protection of all the parts on all sides. Just imagine sitting an object in a bowl and placing it in a box where when the box lid was closed, it is touching the object with no other support around the top. That is basically how it is (and was) packed. I could see where the dust bin was rubbing against the outer box panel, but luckily it was not damaged more during shipping. While this isn't quite the one to clean an entire house (unless you live in one of those mini houses you see on TV), if you need a cordless quick vac to do some quick cleaning, this is definitely one to consider.

I have had many stick vacuums over the years; I find them very handy for quick and easy clean-ups. We’ve also always had big dogs - we currently have a Lab and Golden Retriever. Because of the Golden, there is always hair on the floors. So, I was able to give this vacuum a good test and I must say I’m not impressed. I’m granting it 3 stars purely for the sucking power. It has very good sucking power on “turbo” mode. When vacuuming our hard wood floors, regular mode was sufficient. For vacuuming our carpets and rugs, I had to hit the + to increase the power. When I emptied the container, it collected quite a bit of hair and dust. That’s about where the positive aspects of this vacuum ends. Reasons why I’m not giving it 4 or 5 stars: It seems this vacuum is considered a “pet” vacuum because of the included Mini Motorized Tool. I tested out this tool by vacuuming our dog beds. This tool is useless. It acts more like a lint brush where it gathers the hair into a pile. It did not actually suck up the hair. I had to use the Slim Turbo Action Brush to finish the job. Also, emptying the dust bin is the most inconvenient method I’ve ever used. You have the remove the whole bin from the motor unit, then remove the washable micro filter/mesh grille filter. It definitely requires putting the vacuum down and using both hands. As with most rechargeable products, you need to take the advertised usage time with a grain of salt. For me, the battery lasted close to 20 minutes of vacuuming time, using it on regular and turbo modes. I could see where it could last closer to 40 minutes if you only use it on regular mode but as I mentioned, that’s only good for hard flooring. Overall, for $300 I think there are better stick vacs on the market. This is not a product I can recommend.

I have had a few different stick vacuums and this one is top 2. The unit is very easy to put together and the hanging device is easy to mount to the wall. It comes with screws and plastic wall anchors. I mounted the one side to a wall stud and then sued the plastic anchor and it is very secure. The unit has speed settings and the suction is very good. I have both carpet and hard surfaces in our home as well as two dogs that shed. This vacuum is very easy to grab and go and do a quick clean or a deep clean depending what your home needs. I have used it on the highest setting which for us the unit lasted approximately 6 minutes with the floor head attached. I did that to see how long it would last as I wouldn't probably use that for that long typically on high. There are multiple speed settings and we have been using a middle speed which seems to do the job for us. The recharge time was a while but my other stick vacuums appear to be the same so not a huge issue. We have a larger upright vacuum so this is more used for spot cleaning and quick run over of our hard surfaces which the battery lasts for the entire time. What I like about this is I can use this for my vehicles as it is very portable. Cleaning the vacuum is very easy and what I really like about this is the accessibility of the hepa filter which I see you can wash and dry. I also like the pet attachments as this is the first time I had a pet stick vacuum so we have been using this for our pets often. I did not use it for stains or water as typically I would just use a rag. Great vacuum for the price.

Very lightweight which is what I was looking for. The battery doesn’t last very long, which is why this vacuum is lighter than the other Samsung stick vacuums so I took 1 star off for that. Otherwise it’s a great vacuum. Feels like a toy and is a lot faster than sweeping and dusting! I can accomplish more in less time. This vacuum is a back pain savior and time saver! Reminds me of the Fisher Price toys I had when I was a kid. In other words, it feels like a toy vacuum but it actually cleans decently well. #1 feature is it reduces back pain. Old school vacuum hoses kill my back.

The Samsung Jet 60 Pet Cordless Stick Vacuum is a good cordless option to vacuum my small house. It works best on hard floor surfaces at the default “mid” setting. This vacuum does a good job of capturing a lot of debris from my floors and furniture. This is my second Samsung cordless vacuum. My favorite accessory is the Mini Motorized Tool which I use to clean my bed and couch. OVERALL The product description and specs are pretty accurate to inform your expectations of this vacuum. A longer lasting battery would put the Samsung Jet 60 over the top and make this an excellent vacuum. Nevertheless, it’s still a good cordless vacuum. BATTERY - I got 6m 40s on a full battery in Max mode. I really wish the battery lasted longer because the filtration system works best in Max mode to capture the highest percentage of dander, pollen, and fine/micro dust. - The vacuum does clean surfaces of a lot of hair with Mid mode so that’s what I use most often, but I’d love to be able to use the filtration system to its highest potential on Max mode for longer than 6-7 minutes. - The battery can last about 25-30 minutes when using Mid mode and you can get up to 40 minutes by using or even switching between Low and Mid modes. - The battery is easy to charge and install. I think the charging stand is wonderful. The crevice and combination tools snap into place and it’s wonderfully organized. - Sometimes I only vacuum for 5 or 10 minutes at a time. I can get a few of those sessions in before needing to charge the battery. Luckily I now have two vacuum sets that are battery & accessory compatible. ACCESSORIES - The Jet Fit Brush, which is the main head used to vacuum the floors, is nice, slim and works well. It would be really helpful if this came with a cutting tool to help free the brush head of all the hair it catches. The bin does catch a lot of hair but plenty gets stuck in the brush and it’s a challenge to clean it out without some sort of cutting tool. - When built in full, this whole system fits very neatly under a lot of difficult-to-reach spaces like under the bed or under the kitchen table. The Jet Fit Brush fits perfectly between my dining chair legs. - I use the combination tool on places like my dog bed or window sills and the crevice tool for edges, corners, and places like between the wall and the fridge. DUST BIN & CLEANING - The dust bin holds a good amount of debris and cleans out easily. - The centerpiece inside the dust bin cleans easily on the outside. I have to use a spray nozzle at the right angle to clean the inside which I do about once a month or so. The rest of the time, I just dump out the contents of the plastic bin and put it right back on to keep cleaning. - One thing about the physical design I don’t like is that the dust bin is tricky to click back into place onto the vacuum. The angle has to be just right and I really have to push the bin hard into place for it to secure itself. FINAL THOUGHTS This is a fine vacuum. Couple things could be better but honestly, it does its job and if you have a spare battery, it’ll last a decent amount of time on the Mid setting.

The Samsung Jet 60 Pet is very lightweight and agile. It comes with several attachments for various vacuuming chores (blinds, ceiling fan, floors etc.) Also because there are two speeds which are high and low, your blinds won't be sucked off the wall. I was very impressed with the suction power on either setting. I have hardwood floors with area rugs. Using the high power on the rugs I find the push pull of the vacuum to be hard to do, turning it down to low alleviated that issue. I had no problem on either setting on the hardwoods. I really like how it lays perfectly flat, giving me total access under the beds and couch. The only gripe I have could be a good or bad thing. The cup holding the waste fills up really quickly and has to be emptied often. But I guess that just means that the Jet 60 is good at what it does. Although I haven't done it yet the filter that fit over the waste cup is washable. So in the end. This is a great whole home, car, camper or boat vac, that when attached to its charger that can be mounted on the wall, takes up very little space. I don't think you could go wrong in opting for this model

Excellent if you have pets. Gets up soooo much, very easy to clean. You can easily take out the roller and also another roller which I need to do a lot with my dog. Cons: battery life on full power is about 5 minute. I can only do one floor of my house. Also the dustbin fills up very fast (but that means it has great suction). I stuck with this as opposed to larger model after talking to samsung customer support. I'm not sure if the larger model is as easy to clean. If it is, go with the larger model! However, this small model is very, very easy to get a fast clean done around the house. What used to take me 30 minutes with regular vacuum, I can whip out really fast. I love it enough I am considering this as a present for family members. so it's really good.

Samsung really knocked it out of the park with this little guy. Between my wife and I, we actually enjoy vacuuming. We've even had competitions to see who can clean the most before the battery runs down! It's substantially more than I expected for the size of the battery, you can get a few rooms lightly soiled carpeted rooms in! Not just using it at the lowest speed either! (I'm not sure where Samsung gets the "up to 40mins" number, but I think you'd have to be not using any powered attachments, and at the lowest setting to get close to that, caveat aside, it lasts enough for a quick clean on an average house floor or more!) I also was not expecting it would actually pick up much more than an older hand vacuum that happens to have a long wand/sweeper attachment. It actually functions as a "main" vacuum if you're a frequent cleaner, as it handles deeper messes in a carpet that I was not expecting it to even come close to pulling up all the way. (dog and people hair plus some tracked in dirt/sand that was stepped in, took a few passes, but still managed) It's also not excessively loud, my infant daughter is most intrigued by it and watches us intently, whereas she was frightened/we had to put some hearing protecting on her if we wanted to use our "big" corded vacuum. The ONLY downside I have to this vacuum is the charging/mounting unit, which is why I gave it 4/5 instead of 5/5. Some folks do not want to mount a vacuum and just want it hidden in a closet until use, with a battery charger in the corner maybe out of the way. (The charger mount is a neat idea IF you plan on mounting, since you can charge the battery by itself or leave it in the vacuum and charge through the vacuum without removing the battery)

mostly love this vacuum, great suction and its very light and manuverable- but the battery life is pretty short. also, for being a pet vacuum- the rotating brush design gets hair caught around it and clogged up within a short period of use.

TL;DR - The Samsung Jet 60 Pet cordless vacuum is a solid, lightweight choice for quick cleanups around the house. The battery life is decent, setup is easy, and cleaning it out is simple. If you have a larger home and want to use this as your primary vacuum, consider purchasing additional batteries for it. Unboxing and setup: Everything is well-organized inside the box. The packaging material is all cardboard, so it's easily recyclable. Everything is wrapped in a plastic bag that can be recycled with your grocery bags, and only the main unit and both included power heads have peels on the clear plastic parts. Everything assembles easily. The hardest part is finding a place for the charge base so it's out of the way but still connected to power; you'll want a drill for pilot holes when you put the screws into your wall for the charge base. Usage: It's a vacuum cleaner, but battery powered. There are buttons for power and speed on the main part of the unit - low speed is quiet and good for removing dust from shelves, ceiling fans, and cobwebs; medium is a balance of power, sound, and battery life; and high is powerful but loud and drains the battery fast. It has a similar weight to a battery-powered impact wrench or yard blower with a high-capacity battery installed. The battery charge takes a bit to complete, but there are blue indicator LEDs to show you where the battery level is. The charge base can charge the battery in the vacuum or on its own. You should clean this machine after every use. remove the dust bin assembly, tap the lint collected out of the screen assembly (it's the silver part), and it's ready for next time. Final thoughts - The Samsung Jet 60 Pet is the first battery vacuum I've used that, for the price, feels like an excellent machine. It cleans as well as the more expensive brands and is a solid value.

Right out of the box, you know this is going to be a good Vacuum. Take maybe 5-10 minutes to unpack, (there is a lot of clear plastic protecting the unit). Once you get it unpacked. Click the battery on, click the tube, and the brush... and you are done.. .and on your way. Right away, this probably the LIGHTEST cordless vacuum of this size I have every owned or used. MUCH lighter then my Dyson and LG. default power level, is going to be good for almost all usage. I was able to knock out through my master bedroom pretty quickly. There is a high and low level as well. the HIGH level, was almost too much for my short carpet, and it pulled the head into the carpet, making it a little hard to move. And the Low, really seems to be for those shaggy carpets, so it doesn't pull too much in. I used it for a good 30 minutes right out of the box, with out a need to charge the battery. So unless I am really doing the FULL house, one charge should cover us. Comes with a small and simple charging base, easy to mount with two screws. Only nit pick, is the power adapter, for some tight spaces, it may be a little big
