The dishwasher itself pretty much upheld to most of the reviews I read before buying. It works well to clean, albeit it a bit long. It's very quiet. The machine does not have a direct heating element in it, which I personally find nice, but it does leave a lot of residual water in crevices of dishes. The machine is designed to automatically open the door when there's about 10 minutes left on the cycle. This mechanism in my dishwasher broke. I had to rig some hard-rubber pads to get it to open at all. Without this mechanism, your dishes hardly dry at all. So, obviously, the one year manufacturers warranty was up after this mechanism broke. Definitely won't ever consider a Samsung product or appliance again.

Checked all different dishwashers and we wanted to give this a try! Much better washing capabilities then the traditional dishwashers. Definitely recommend it!

We were really excited to get this dishwasher. Didn't even look at other brands. Our mistake. It died before it could finish the first load. Threw an error code that couldn't be reset. It was extremely quiet during that one load until the error alarm started... Only way to stop it was to cut the power to it. Best Buy was AMAZING in dealing with this. A replacement wasn't available at the time so they gave us a loaner until we could decide what direction we wanted to go. We ultimately went with another brand and are very glad we did.

great dishwasher!!! super quiet and has plenty of room!

So far this dishwasher has been doing it’s job. I really like that I can stand my wine glasses up and get a fewer tall containers on the top rack with no issue. The only cons I have with this is the location of the silverware holder and how low the whole thing is. The little flap things on the silverware hold will catch on the side of the machine if you don’t close them a little bit and throw the bottom drawer off track. I’m not a tall person at all (5’3”) and holy cow I feel like a giant when I’m loading this! With the door down I end up turning it on with my ankles but for the price I’ll live with it!

This is an awesome dishwasher. Looks great, cleans well and is whisper quiet.

This DW is rated at 42 Db and is very quiet - no need for lower noise rating - any less noise might cause you to think it's not working, or to open DW while in operation, inadvertently... Very sleek looking and flushing with cabinet & counter top for a clean, modern look. Manufacturer might want to design it with a (befitting) handle to prevent smudging the stainless steel door when closing after loading. The racks' dish-holding "spikes" and base takes a little bit of getting used to - could have been designed better to accommodate a variety of items of different sizes/shapes (eg. not every load has 18 same size/shape dishes, etc.) The top rack is a bit "wiggly" moving in and out. I like the touch controls feature on top edge of door, but the plastic is a bit cheap looking - plexi-glass would have been more fitting for this sleek style. Adequate wash modes (6), however takes longer than expected. Mode Heavy with Boost takes the longest 3:20 to complete - wonder why such long time...? Very helpful designs regarding installation and adjustments (eg. leveling, clips, mounting brackets, extra screw holes, etc.) I encountered a couple of issues, but Best Buy Customer Care (Iliana V.) provided such excellent service that made the purchase experience second to none. This service satisfaction helped make the Overall Rating 5 Stars *****.

The quietest dishwasher we have ever owned, and Every thing comes clean

It cleans the dishes well, but sometimes the soap doesn't dispense if there's a dish blocking it. Other than that I've got no complaints.

It works so well and seems to be a lot faster than other dishwashers. I love how it lights up blue and the noise it makes once the dishes are done!
