Didn't like that it did not have a drying element.

After having purchased a dishwasher within the past few years, I was on the fence whether or not to get an even newer one, since the one we had was doing a fine job. Boy did we make the right choice and go with the new Samsung model with the Waterwall Technology. This dishwasher cleans like there is no tomorrow. First of all the capacity is great. We can easily fit two meals worth of dishes, pot, pans, silverware in to this guy and still not lose the cleaning you get from when you overcrowd a lesser dishwasher. I've ran minimal cycles, Auto cycles, and a full blast Waterwall cycle just to take it for a spin drive. The auto cycle for us does the trick each and every time. Somehow it figures out what needs it the most and what needs it the least and it runs its course. Dishes come out each and every time dry and clean. (The door popping open feature is great at the end of the cycle - saves money and dishes dry faster). We did a large family sized lasagna one day and after 3 days in the fridge and all the leftovers gone, I put it in the rack and gave it the Waterwall feature and the glass tray was cleaner somehow from when I first started. It truly did clean the heck out of it, and I did not pre soak or remove any of the older stuff from the tray. We couldn't be happier with the purchase of this dishwasher. It runs circles around the competition and you would never know it was on since its so quiet. I would totally recommend this dishwasher to anyone on the fence or trying to figure out the one they want. I was an Insider who tested this product. Excellent job Samsung!

I am very impressed with how quiet this dishwasher is, I have used many different dishwashers by many different manufacturers and the Samsung Waterwall is by far the quietest yet, being whisper quiet. Performance - I am also very happy with the performance of this dishwasher. I have placed a mixture of pots & pans along with other dishes including flatware in this guy and they all came out spotless & clean. Amazingly, I did not even prewash them. Now that was very impressive to my wife and myself. My previous dishwasher, prewashing was always a must. Appearance – it has a very modern style and is flush with countertop for a clean, and well-defined look. All the buttons are hidden away on top of the door and out of sight. Functionality - The dish racks are adjustable to accommodate a variety of items of different sizes, I love how the top rack can be raised, lowered or even completely removed if needed for more room from top to bottom. It has 6 washing modes which I think is more than enough for my needs. Cons – I only have one con, the top dish rack wiggles around a bit, I think it’s because it can be completely removed. However, the feels odds when it wiggles. Recommendation – I am happy with the Samsung Waterwall Dishwasher and would recommend it to anyone. It looks great and works even better.

I am seriously overjoyed with this purchase! This is the quietest dishwasher I have ever been around/used. We don't even know it's running unless you look for the light. The auto-release is great because we run ours overnight and the dishes are dry in the morning. It only opens a few inches, but is very effective. I love the set up, the extra rack on top is a great addition for toddler dishes (and bottles). My absolute favorite part is the booster zone! You need to read the booklet to understand how to turn it on and what setting it's with, but I can barely wash my dishes before putting them in the dishwasher and they turn out clean! I am an insider & I would HIGHLY recommend this product!

Worked good for 3 years then started having problems now wont run full cycle problem after problrm

Samsung really did outdo themselves with this dishwasher. There was alot of thought when designing this. Everything from how the dishwasher thoroughly and efficiently cleans and drys the dishes, to the door automatically opening for a thorough spotless dry to the soft chimes when the dishwasher is finished. I love everything about this dishwasher. It's absolutely gorgeous, very easy to clean especially with it being stainless steel. It wipes down easily without leaving streaks. I have received many compliments as well. In fact one of my my friends is in the market to purchase the same one. If you are in the market for a dishwasher I highly recommend this, you will not be disappointed!

The Samsung Waterfall (DW80M9550UG) has many exceptional features, but the one my family appreciates the most is the sanitize option; with an infant it is especially important. The Waterfall runs extremely quietly and does not interrupt the sound in my home compared to my old GE dishwasher which could often interrupt TV watching. The water wall feature cleans the dishes really well and the extra settings are nice if you need to do a special type of load. The racks can fold up or down depending on your needs, which is awesome. My dishes come out sparkling clean, I love the feature that it opens automatically once the cycle is complete. This product is amazing and a great buy, not to mention it looks outstanding. It’s sleek and clean look matches well with our dark espresso cabinets and the fact that it is resistant to displaying fingerprints makes it even more superb! I am reviewing the Samsung Waterfall (DW80M9550UG) as part of the Insiders program.

I've had this dishwasher for 6 months now and I love it. Very efficient dishwasher and cleans dishes spotless! I'm amazed at how quiet it is. The only way you can tell it is running is by looking to see if the cool blue light is on. My kids have accidentally opened it a couple of times because they didn't know it was running. They've learned to look to see if the blue light is on. The only issue I had was when it was first installed I noticed a leak on the front left side when it was running. Best buy came back to look at it and they said it wasn't installed correctly because it wasn't balanced right. With these dishwashers, they have to be perfectly balanced by adjusting their "legs" and since the first installer didn't balance it correctly, water was draining the the left side. Once they made the corrections it has been cleaning my dishes spotlessly!

THIS DISH WASHER DOES AN ACCEPTABLE JOB CLEANING, BUT IT IS SO SLOW, NO MATTER WHAT CYCLE YOU SELECT. SIDE SEAL HAVE LEAKED SINCE IT WAS NEW, NOT TOO BAD, BUT IT LEAVES SPOTS ON THE FLOOR

The water wall quit working Too hard to fix and expensive parts It was fine for 5 years

What a joke had it for a week. And because it is so technically advanced one little drop of water would brick the dishwasher. I had a repair service by to fix it multiple times. After a month of trying to fix it the repair guy gave up and never came back. We returned it and caught a different dishwasher a kitchen aid… it’s ok. Should have bought the Boush.

Appearance - I really like the look of the outside of the dishwasher. The Samsung Waterfall is very sleek land the blue light illuminates it while it is running. The inside of the dishwasher is chrome but easy to clean. I was amazed at how quiet the dishwasher was while it was running. Performance - I was happy with the overall the performance of the dishwasher. I did not pre-rinse or pre-wash any dishes, utensils, or baking pans. All the dishes, utensils, and baking pans were clean and left with no food particles on them after being washed. I was impressed. Functionality - There are different compartments for different types of dishes and utensils to be placed in the dishwasher. The top and bottom racks adjust to accommodate dishes with different lengths and height. The top rack is also removable. The six-different dish washing cycles are sufficient for my needs. I like that there are measuring lines inside the dishwasher cup to measure the dish detergent to use the exact amount. I like that the door is heavy, so mild bumps will not cause damage to the dishwasher as my children walk or run past it while the door is open. Cons - I don’t like how the top dishwasher rack wiggles when placing dishes in it or sliding it in and out of the dishwasher. It appears as if it were going to break. Recommendation - Overall, I am very impressed with the functionality and performance of the Samsung Waterfall Dishwasher and would recommend it to friends and family.

Horrible. Many repairs for water leaking onto the floor. Now its making a grinding noise. Not impressed with Samsung appliances. We only got 7 years out of our Samsung fridge before it died.

I think it is a beautiful dishwasher and it worked well for about 4 months. It started leaking after about 4 months of use. We are retired and we usually ran about a load of dishes approximately every day or two. A warranty repairman came in January and said he had to order parts. He's been to our home 3 times with different parts and finally told us he couldn't repair it and we will be hearing from Samsung. We've been without a dishwasher for months more than 3 months. Looks like we will buy another dishwasher of a different brand. Consumer Reports rates Samsung as the most "repair-prone" dishwasher. I should have done my homework before I bought the Samsung - Waterwall dishwasher. Warranty repairs are VERY SLOW, to say the least.

This machine does what it says that it will do, clean your dirty dishes. We even tested allowing food particles and gravy to completely dry and stick onto the surface of the plates without rinsing anything off, and later ran the machine. Upon the completion of the cycle we removed the test items and found that they were Completely Clean!! The machine uses less water than traditional methods of washing them yourself by hand.

it looks great and functions fine but the quick cycle still takes and hour and it is loud the wall of water makes alot of noise for a long time, i wouldn't buy it again

Operates quietly and washes great. My past washer died on us and BestBuy replaced it!

Absolute trash dishwasher. Do not buy Samsung appliances, you will regret it. We bought a Samsung appliance package about five years ago and the dishwasher has had several issues, like, leaking, unable to run full cycles, and now the pump has gone out. Stick with LG or Bosch.

Struggled to get dishes clean. Racks started dissolving and rotting after 2 years. Plastic pieces for the adjustable parts broke shortly after. Stopped being able to run more than 1 load a day after about 5 years.
