    very bad service

The dishwasher started to have issues after few weeks, since I bought it. It stopped in the middle of the cycle and had some water left. It happened 1-2 times per months but after 5 months started to happen every other time. I open the case in Samsung and here where you will come to the awful support. Bad support, bad service. Site where you have to create service request doesn't work, fine they do that for you. After 2 weeks their tech comes and detached the hose and put it to the pan and told to run it like that. When I run it it just run to my floor cause the pan they chose was small... Good that I didn't trust them and was close to it.. When I contact the the tech, they told well we come in a 2 weeks and will see what we can do next... Samsung just didn't new then they have open case, in their system it was completed... So case is open so far and would recommend don't buy anything from Samsung and maybe Best Buy if they working with such a bad company. Too sad I bought so much staff in Best buy but never do again...

    Beware of This Dishwasher

In 2017, my wife & I purchased this dishwasher. Almost immediately, we began experiencing performance issues. It all began with a leaking door seal. After three tries (by Samsung repairmen), the problem was finally resolved. In 2018 or so, we began experiencing frequent LC error codes (warning of a possible leak). Long story short, we could never get the code under control. Samsung denied it being a major issue (Google the problem and see what comes back). So, we just junked it and bought a Bosch 100 Series Dishwasher. Working great!

Dishwasher was scrap within 3 years

I cannot stress enough what a bad idea it was too buy this dishwasher (and, indeed, the other Samsung appliances we purchased in a bundle). Within three years (out of warranty, of course), we had to replace the motherboard and suffered a broken waterwall motor. There was also a one-off flooding incident that resolved itself, but made be pretty nervous since we run our dishwasher at night. Rather than invest hundreds more dollars in the most recent and inevitable future repairs, we replaced it with a different brand.

    Poor Cleaning & Sour Odor

    Posted .

This dishwasher is extremely quiet. Not ready impressed with the job it does, however. It has had a sour odor from day 1. I was told later that it needed to run 3 cycles before the sour smell would go away. That did not work. I was then told I need to run Tang (yes the drink) through a cycle. Huh? I've purchased many dishwashers during my life and never have I had ANY issues, until now. I would not recommend this brand or dishwasher to anyone.

Do Not Buy A Samsung Dishwasher

a month ago I purchased a Samsung dishwasher. It performed perfectly for a year. This was used one time per week. I have an LC code that cannot be fixed. After replacement of several parts on the dishwasher to the tune of $450, Samsung is now telling me that I must invest in a board replacement, that "may" remedy my problem. This is another $450. I paid $800 for the dishwasher and it should last longer than 52 wash cycle. DW80j7550UG is the model. Do NOT BUY Samsung dishwashers.

    Terrible dishwasher with aweful Service

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

This dishwasher is on its 3rd service call and it is constantly breaking. Mostly leaking. Its leaked from the pump housing, from the front door seal, from the cheap plastic input connector. Everything about this dishwasher is cheap. Best of all, when you call Samsung for service they give you the run around for 30 minutes. When you finally get setup for service you have to deal with a 3rd party repair company that doesn't want to do the warranty repairs. Just an aweful experience.

    Terribly disappointed

Terribly disappointed not only with the quality of this product but also with the lack of ownership Samsung has taken on behalf of their faulty appliance. We have been long term Samsung customers but will never buy their products again. We purchased our dishwasher as a part of a set (oven, microwave, dishwasher, and refrigerator) in April of 2016. The dishwasher alone was $850.00. Two and half years later, we had to have the transmission replaced, followed by the pump. When I spoke with a representative I was told that perhaps I use my dishwasher too much. I use my dishwasher once a day or that it's possible water leaked in. Never in my wildest dreams did I expect a dishwasher as expensive as this one to require so many expensive repairs. If you expect your customers to return for future purchases, STAND behind your product. When you make a product as faulty as this one, STAND behind your errors.

    Beware!

Hi I don’t normally leave reviews. Thought I’d let you know about my experience with this. I bought this in 2018. I don’t know about you but my last dishwasher was purchased in 1997 it was still running when I decided to replace it 21 years later. This product started leaking within a few months l, fixed. Fine. About a year later I started to get an error message. Wouldn’t run. Couldn’t clear it. They had to come back out and replace the board. Fine it was covered. Now a year later I noticed none of my dishes being cleaned as they once did. Come to find out the dumb waterwall isn’t moving. I called and they said sorry not under warranty. Looked up online and the replacement cost for the motor was $600. Now I’m just buying a new one. Never Samsung again. I had a fridge break a stove and a dishwasher. All crap. I feel Samsung pushes products out that have not been thoroughly test. If they did they would have caught several of these issues. Such a waste of money. Do what you want but that’s my experience.

The machine stopped working and a technician that came to troubleshoot it told us it would be $500+ to fix it. Samsung will not do anything about it. The technician told us that the most common thing his customers say is 'never again Samsung'.

    Worst dishwasher I’ve ever owned

Bought a house with this dishwasher already installed. Worst dishwasher I’ve ever owned. The controls provide zero feedback when you press them and the wash quality is poor, have to run stuff twice often. Recently it also flooded my kitchen. I wouldn’t waste my money buying a new Samsung appliance, awful quality.

    Leaks

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I have owned my Samsung Waterfall for two years now. I started to receive the ole "LC" error code. Leak sensor error. So I had a repairman out who talked with Samsung and verified that there is a leak at the welded seam. Since it is out of manufacturers warranty there is nothing that can be done. Cost me 850$ for the machine and another 200$ for the repairman to tell I should throw it away and get another. I would say to not buy a Samsung machine. If you do (shame shame) at least purchase a good strong 3 year warranty. You will need it.

    Junk

Samsung should stick to producing smart phones and not appliances. The price definitely doesn't justify to EXTREMELY poor quality. I bought all new appliances a year a go after renovating my house and I regret it ever since. As for this dishwasher, the quality of the parts is horrible, a year after buying all of a sudden the dish soap remains inside the dispenser (an yes the dispenser is clean and nothing blocks it). It was definitely the biggest waste of money as far as I'm concerned. I could buy all appliances for half of the price I paid and get probably a better quality.

    Samsung Dishwasher

I have nothing good to say about this product. Right from the beginning, it has not washed dishes well. They come out dirty almost every single cycle (and yes I've read how to properly load and we're doing that correctly). It does not dry dishes. Not even slightly from my experiences. I'll run a load before bed and they are not even close to dry in the morning. I have to dry every single dish before putting away. And finally, this thing leaks. A LOT. I have a hard time even wanting to use this thing. It's been such a disappointment. I could never recommend this product.
