In my opinion I think Samsung makes great products. You might find some that aren’t as good but for the most part, I have always been able to rely on them.Sames goes for this laptop, reliability is key. I like this laptop and I of course got a good price on it.

Power button and finger sensor at wrong place finger print detection is pathetic. The weigh is a big issue also the metal becomes dead cold. N it’s tooheavy

Its an ok lap top, had some issues with the screen right from the beginning, returned it and got the hp spectre it cost almost double but you get what you pay for.

encounter some issues with the picture quality and a line at the edge of the screen. I was not impressed with this product, the only positive was the easy set up.

Love the flip folder. Windows 10, not so much. I expected this laptop would be faster than it is.

This laptop ended up being a piece of junk. I liked it at first because it was so much faster than the 5 year old HP it replaced but it died at just over at 1 year and 4 months and this was after dealing with the horrific webcam and speakers and the breaking down of the keys over that timeframe. Several of the keys lost their letters and two of them got holes in them. (And I keep my nails short and never pounded on it when I was typing!) All this in just over a year of owning it. I also did not realize how cheaply made it was until I bought my first MacBook Air and was able to compare. I have owned several HP's and Dell's and never had any of the problems I had with this Samsung laptop. No more Samsung electronics for me!

Speakers aren't great but simple and fairly easy to use laptop.

Not sure why there are Dell reviews listed for this laptop so I will give a real review. The laptop is wonderful. Battery life is amazing getting 8 to 9 hours of use before it needs charging. Keep in mind this is not at max brightness. Keyboard is easy to type on. Screen has a little bit of wobble to it but nothing to be concerned with. Laptop cold boots in 5 or 6 seconds.. and wakes from sleep in 2-3 seconds. The Top panel behind the LCD display is very solid unlike some other laptops I have owned where I felt like I could break the screen easily. The LCD is bright and easily seen on its max brightness level. The biggest thing for me is noise.. I have yet to even hear the fan come on. I use this for audio tuning with a MIC which means I need the laptop silent. I didn't notice any heat on the palm rest area after use. The underside does get a bit warm but I never found it to be a problem for me. For the money the specs are great! I am a 20 year IT Tech and could not be happier with this laptop purchase.

I've had this computer for over 5 weeks now and have been extremely happy with it. A good keyboard was an important feature to me and I have really liked the one on this. I have also been very pleased with the mousepad experience. I like that for its smaller size it is not anemic on ports either. I didn't think a touch screen would make a difference for me, but I find myself using it quite frequently, especially for scrolling. I've used the tablet mode a little bit but plan to use it more when it comes to reading books and articles in the future (haven't had a need over the holidays). Speed is great. I have not had any issues with fan noise. I tested the webcam in store and thought it was terrible, but in my office setting it has proven to be fine. I like that the power cord plugs in and does not magnetically attach - gives it a nice sturdy connection. I was initially concerned about the power button being on the side but that has not proven to be an issue. Battery life has been surprisingly good too. I could not be more satisfied with this purchase. Bonus - my spouse is jealous of my computer now :) I use this PC for online graduate school and office work at a small business.

The touchpad keeps freezing, the lap top is much slower than I thought it would be.

Purchased this on Black Friday . Went home to use it. And the WiFi didn’t work . It had a error code .. sound was t that great either..just bought it and needed work done already, returned it and got the hp pavilion. Best decision I made ..

I returned this computer and exchanged it for an HP. I gained an SD slot, a DVD drive and software, a numeric keyboard, AND I saved $140!!! My display is better on the HP also. The Samsung just was disappointing in several ways.

unit stopped working two weeks after my purchase and Ive contacted samsung customer service multiple times over the last month and the issues still arent resolved. Dont bother with this one. choose another brand

this computer is fast it is light pretty the key board is nice to the touch I had bought a dell computer it was ok but the thing would get very hot after it was on for 30 minutes I was trying to keep it I called dell they said it must have a bad board so I went back to best buy the salesman showed me many computers but said this one very good had great apps and was fast so I said I would try it it has been very good fast start up with the ssd strong I would recommend it it has been great so far the backlight on the keyboard adjusts itself to the rooms lighting

Returned this laptop an purchased an hp envy. Dont think I'll try this model again.

Great laptop! Got this as a gift that I will be using as I continue on with my studies. In addition to its quality build and specs, the battery life is phenomenal. Definitely meets the average 9-10 hours lifespan claimed by most users I've seen. Would recommend to any individual that is looking for a quality laptop without wanting to pay beyond $1k.

The laptop was working well. However, the startup screen had white outlines.

Worked well for college work and simple things. I had it for college for a couple years and then gave it to my brother-in-law.

Best laptop I ever had. Still running strong. Was purchased six years ago and still performing like new. I will for sure buy my next one from Bestbuy

I have to say, I had this laptop for just over four years and it was the best laptop I’ve had. Only reason it did not last longer is because I was dumb and spilled water on it. After years of use, the battery life was solid, it’s speed was effective and efficient, and I couldn’t have asked for a better companion. I’d still have it if I hadn’t made a dumb mistake with spilling it. Truly the best laptop ive had thus far and has made me an honest customer of Samsung. Going to try another more recently branded laptop they have and will keep my fingers crossed and hope for the best. All that aside, truly the best laptop I’ve had. Hoping Samsung will deliver on this next purchase.
