I started with surface pro , Dell HP , all of them had something I didn’t like different reasons for each , tried this Samsung. And it was perfect , i have not 1 complaint , boots up fast , doesn’t have WiFi issues , screen is nice, volume good , fast , it checked every box I was looking for , I can play games on it , Tomb raider, life is strange...photoshop works great , I finally found the perfect 2-1 And the surface pen does work on it...I even bought an open box I paid like 700$ and it looked brand new. I recommend the open boxes if u want save some $. U can always return if not to ur liking

Long life. I had this since 2018. Ive done multiple years of Engineering homework on it, so i stressed it plenty of times. The touch screen never failed. After 5 years, its finally is starting to die. But, i cant complain. I got my moneys worth

I never write reviews but I had a terrible experience with laptops this year. I got a dell 2-in-1 to start, and while that computer was great, the motherboard failed, and it started a very painful experience with Dell's support. Replaced it with a Lenovo yoga with a screen flickering issue, and the screen completely died in less than 3 weeks with the laptop. So I went with this laptop instead, and it was the greatest choice I've made regarding a computer. It was like night and day compared to the other two laptops I tried this year. This computer is solid, fast, and powerful. The battery life is great, the screen feels smooth and bamboo pens basically glid across it. The fingerprint scanner is in a good spot that is easily reachable. I have not had one complaint with the computer since I have gotten it two months ago. When you feel this computer, you can tell it's made a higher quality than others. It feels thick and sturdy without being heavy. I would recommend this laptop to people in the street if it was socially acceptable. Highly recommend.

I am still using this laptop four years later and am just as obsessed with it. I have had zero issues. I have even dropped it a couple of times and it works perfectly.

Superb laptop for everyday work and browsing on the internet.

Before I bought, I read reviews for this laptop that said it made a loud noise while starting up--this has not been my experience at all. It only got loud like that for me one time ever in the month I've owned it when I turned it on for the first time. The touch screen is also incredible. The processing is SO fast. The only thing is that the 13.3" screen is smaller than what I thought it would be. I know this sounds ridiculous because you can just measure it out, but my last 13" screen seemed much larger because it was a bulkier laptop! This laptop is so thin and light-weight (great for students!!) that the screen seems smaller than it is...I'd go with one size up than what you expect! Overall a very excellent laptop for what I use it for-- writing papers, reading and annotating online documents, and researching.

I bought this laptop for school and work. IT has amazing battery life, and the settings that Samsung provides allow you to make use of every bit of it. The screen is great outside and in. It runs my older games well. Works well with windows ink but you don't get use of all the gestures and there is no dock. For me, I used this thing everywhere, school work home, beach, parks, etc. The only thing is due to a lot of use and being in my backpack, there is some flex now in the plastic frame, aluminum would've been a much better build material. but overall its a great device.

My daughter got this for Christmas 2018 so we havent had it long but so far she loves it. I was nervous bevause some reviews said it was not compatible with smart pens but i finally found sn article that said newer models were compatible. I bought a Wacom smart stylus and it works great! My daughter is loving that feature. The screen is amazing, very crisp and clear. So far we are both impressed and would definitely recommend.

Very good overall laptop. I am a college student and this meets all my needs. Streaming, office work, and everything you'd really need. The only thing really holding this laptop back is its short battery. Pros: Light gaming Great for a student Cons: Fairly low battery capacity

I researched a lot on a laptop to replace my 4 year old Toshiba, which died without a clear reason. Samsung Notebook attracted me because it 7 has many great features that the other laptops don't; It is a fast machine; the stylus is more accurate than Surface Pro or Bamboo pen; the size and weight are perfect for me to carry it with me; the keyboard is quiet and of high quality. I liked the layout of the keys, especially the cursor keys. However, after using it for 3 hours, I realized the fan noise is above average. I could have borne the noise if it had happened when many applications were running at the same time, but there was only one program (Internet browser) running but the fan noise continued repeatedly. I thought that it might be the case that I got a defective one, but when I Googled the problem and it was not just me. A lot of complaints about the fan noise. So, I immediately went to BestBuy and returned it on the same day. Instead I bought MacBook Air, my first Apple computer, which is cheaper than this Samsung model. It was a great decision. Samsung laptops are excellent, but they still need more work to achieve perfection, like Apple. I gave only two stars to alert Samsung and potential buyers of this product. (It deserves 3 or 4.)

Great computer, but does not have the main feature of pen capability that I was hoping for.

All in all an okay laptop. Performed fine and didn't really freeze but let em warn you. If anything ever happens to this laptop, esp. to your screen, it'll cost about half what it's worth to fix just the screen. Samsung products always cost so much to fix and it's just not worth it man.

I wanted to love this 2-in-1, but unfortunately it started bugging out on me within the first hour of use. The cursor randomly disappears, and the screen doesn’t respond to touch, then all of the sudden it starts responding to multiple phantom touches which opens new programs/windows and does all sorts of erratic behavior. It did this three times within an hour, each time I had to force it to shut down by holding the power button and it works fine for a moment after restarting it, until it begins all over again. It’s too bad, I really liked the portability and otherwise ease of use. I made sure everything was updated, but maybe that was what caused it to malfunction in the first place.

Slightly over 1 year in and 3 new hard drives with no drops or other outside reasons for it. I don’t abuse my electronics, most of the time my computer sits on a desk. The RAM can’t handle even simple computer games and maxes out (100%) everytime any update occurs (even non-windows updates; like iTunes). I have to hard reset the computer with most new updates because it destroys the computer more. This computer is only good for the most basic functions and even then can’t handle having more than one process going at a time.

I was very excited to purchase this laptop; however, after only having it on for 10 minutes the bottom is already extremely hot. The battery also charges to 84% only and won't charge more than that. Returning ASAP

Got this computer only about 2 years ago, and I'm already disappointed. Due to an accident by my friend, the computer's screen broke badly, breaking the screen and touchscreen capabilities. I took this to a workshop and tried to have them help, and apparently, Samsung doesn't even make parts for this laptop anymore, and as such trying to fix it would be virtually impossible and break my bank. Not to mention the tiny amount of battery life when I had it working both before and after the accident, which would expire in less than 1 hour. "Amazing" quality. I will never be buying a Samsung computer again.

It's my experience after one day only!!! It's so bad. The battery charges only 85% and stopped. The figures print not working. The keyboard does not light up when I tough the mouth. I will return with to the store. I don't recommend this to anyone.
