A few quirks here and there but you can’t beat the emersion. Definitely consider wall mounting as it takes up a lot of desk space.

Easy setup and the graphics and clarity are the best I’ve ever worked with. I can play my games and get a little work done at the same time.

Everything you want with one compromise. The backlight dimming is not the best. If you disable that and don't care about hdr, then this is a perfect monitor.

I've owned 2 of this model and one of another Samsung ultrawide. They've all gotten dead pixel(s) within 3 months and now there's no comp available to swap it with. Still probably the best Super Ultrawide so if that's what you want this is a great option, just hope any dead pixel(s) are off to the side. Seems like either the quality of the tech or the production needs a couple more years at least to improve. Unacceptable QC at this price range.

This monitor is everything I expected and wanted. I would say even better after hearing a lot of bad reviews due to backlight bleed and a ton of issues, I was lucky to have received a good version. However, it seems I was missing a USB Pass through cable in my packaging which does suck. Everything else is great though

Worsk like a charm. It evan has the option to use two laptops at the same time with split screen. Easy to switch between computers, too.

I am actually using this monitor in my office. I spend hours a day on my computer and this one item has helped me to be way more productive as I have multiple open windows and can easily switch between them. For some reason, it is more effective for me than a 2nd monitor. I have a Samsung phone and always keep the "Your Phone" app open on the right side of the screen and can easily see new texts and text directly from my keyboard. Wouldn't be without this great monitor.

I thought these would be awesome - they're just ok. Honestly its not that much better than having 2 monitors, they look good but they are ginormous. We had an issue with one of these where the screen keeps going black but to be honest the shear size of it stopped us from taking it to the store to be looked at. I wouldn't buy these or any other widescreen monitor again. I tried doing some trouble shooting with the total tech agent, but all he wanted to do was send me into the store. The issue is small enough and happens infrequently enough that I've kept it - but I wouldn't recommend these. Also no inbuilt speakers - it is on the specifications.

I took a while to set up my monitor so I didn’t realize there was an issue with the screen until I was out of the exchange window. -my bad there. However, a few weeks into setting it up, I already have a dead pixel. There’s been no damage to the product since picking it up. The connections aren’t loose. I can only assume manufacture defect. Best Buy can’t help bc I’m out of the exchange window. Will be reaching out to Samsung next. Not sure I’ll ever buy a Samsung product again. This is my first… it may be my last. We’ll see how their customer service dept is. However, from what I’ve read on the websites with people who have had the same issue, I’m not too hopeful

This monitor is so good. My wife and I share the monitor, me for playing pc games and my wife for productivity.

The Samsung Odyssey G9 is an a amazing gaming monitor, although I have had a few issues with it. My unit had a dead pixel right in the center of the display, and had developed dark spots across the display. I would have exchanged the monitor, but I would have been without a monitor for several days and return the G9 to a Best Buy. The CS rep from Best Buy I talked to suggested that I get warranty service done on the monitor, and it worked out very well. It took a week and a half after contacting Samsung but they sent 2 techs out to my home and they swapped out the screen on the G9 and there isn't any spots or dead pixels on the replacement. The only other issue I've had with the monitor is a niche issue but I have my desktop in a server rack with my nas, av receiver, and router in the back of my office to save some space. So I used a 10ft and 15ft Display Port 1.4 cable with a repeater, but the 15ft cable did not work at all with the G9, the 10ft one did. I had to get another repeater and 2 more Display Port 1.4 cables and another repeater but that worked. The monitor also has issues waking if the PC puts the monitor to sleep but the PC doesn't go to sleep.
