Wonderful monitor but will refresh the whole screen periodically and go black for a few seconds

Originally bought this monitor for my PS5 and series X so that I could play them on the full 120Hz. Quality is solid, minimal IPS glow, no backlight bleed. Then I went and got a gaming desktop and was really happy I bought it! Being able to do up to 4K at north of 120 fps is awesome. Solid purchase. The only downsides are the price (though I got it on sale) and the HDR isn’t very bright, but it still looks great. I sit pretty close so I don’t need it to burn the back of my retinas.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my grandson. When he got it all set up there was a dead pixel. He took the monitor back to his nearest Best Buy store within the time frame given for electronics and the replaced it with another one that seems to be working really well and he really likes the difference in screen from earlier monitors he has had.

The monitor works great, great picture, nice size (coming from 21 inch screens). I have not played many games, but very impressive. I would certainly recommend.

I originally tried the LG GP950 because it was regarded as the best monitor for next gen consoles. Unfortunately that monitor came with a defective screen and constant flicker so it was unusable and had to be returned. Few weeks later I order this one and the screen was excellent no defects or issues. As of writing this review the monitor is currently on sale $150 off for black friday at its current price it is hands down worth it. Get it for your next gen consoles best I have used thus far.

This monitor has glitched out several times on me. It had vertical lines down the screen periodically for a bit and the resolution looked like it went down to like old windows graphics because of it and then would shift back and everything would be back to normal.

Purchased this monitor for my 19 year old son. He said it’s “terrific”. This is coming from a kid that doesn’t like anything so I’d say it’s an amazing buy!

For the price this is a great monitor. I’ve had no issues from great color on movies to keeping up with my gaming!

Really good monitor for playing games. Bought this monitor just to play ps5 & Xbox x games.

This monitor was nice but I really think people should be careful in case there is a defect like a dead pixel as I was having

I use this monitor for mainly gaming. With a little tweaking of various settings both on the monitor and settings within the games that I play , the display looks very good! I plan on updating my graphics card in my pc to take advantage of games that use Ray Tracing which should look fantastic on this 4K monitor! I give Samsung kudos! In my opinion, Samsung has very nice , quality products with excellent visuals! I would definitely recommend this monitor!

First off this monitor does not work out of the box 4K 120 on PS5 only my Xbox. Second the monitor is super easy to update to get 4K 120 on PS5. I think this monitor has the highest bandwidth on the hdmi 2.1 connections out of monitors. Colors.. amazing! Response time.. amazing! Build quality.. amazing! I think this is a great pickup if your in the market for one. And has a decent local dimming more than most monitors and only wish it had HDR 600 then it would be perfect.

Great monitor to use with the PS5 great graphics and not expensive

The Picture is great on this screen, very well balanced. The only problem i have with this is how annoying it is to update the firmware which is needed in order to play hdmi 2.1 or higher. This is needed to play 120 hz on your xbox series s/x or PS5 and pc over hdmi. Other than that this monitor is fantastic.

Definitely worth every penny spent on it ! Bought this for my PS5 and immediately noticed how much faster and detailed it was.

It is a good monitor for the price. I use it for gaming and displays a clear, bright image.

Bought an open box one, display port didn’t work. Lady also charged me full price for it. Worked out though because I got a new one and it is an AMAZING monitor. Have heard of this issue with a number of these though so something to consider.
