What a beast!

I have no complaints but I do wish It had hdr600 instead of hdr400 although when hdr enabled it looks great! the colors are great! very nice and once you have your settings set up this monitor truly looks beautiful! crisp. This monitor is the best when compared to others in the same price range. I did extensive research and quite confident when i say this. ofcourse there are better ones (oled models) but for the price you truly are getting a bang for your buck! it pulls 120fps if your game has it available which i think it awesome! i thought 60fps was smooth but 120 is just butter and this monitor has no problem doing that! no screen tear none of that. there are no internal speakers, I use my turtle beach 700s but i picked up some speakers for $40 as well. the core lighting is neat. overall would recommend to anybody that are in the market for a monitor and not trying to spend 1k plus. very good for console players like myself. Note, my picture doesn’t give this monitor justice!

Very solid monitor

The 4K is very good and when I can get 120 hz on ps5 games its very smooth and responsive. Great for console gaming but a little pricey at least when I bought it. I’d definitely recommend it to someone especially if you catch it on a sale. 8.5/10

The lights on the front and back are not necessary (I use my own lighting around the monitor) but I can see how some might find it cool. There has been one dead pixel that was there since I bought it but it’s not noticeable in gameplay.

- A:Answer I am running at 120hz 4k resolution, mostly playing warzone. Make sure you do the firmware update, it can be downloaded on the Samsung website. And change the HDMI port setting to AV. You shouldn’t have any problems as long as the game you are playing is capable of scaling to 120hz at 4k

Q: QuestionI have the LG 27GP950 and it has TERRIBLE IPS glow from the corners that show during cutscenes. How is this monitor with black bar cutscenes?

- A:Answer I actually had the LG27GP950-B and exchanged it for this monitor for that reason. Despite being $100 cheaper, this monitor takes the cake. I have no IPS glow during cut scenes and the colors are phenomenal during 4k 120hz gameplay. I bought the LG thinking it was going to be the best but surprisingly I found it to be average at best. Definitely pick this monitor up. I also purchased the Spectrum monitor after a long pre order wait and it doesn’t even come close to what this monitor offers.

- A:Answer Press the power button to pull up the menu. Next click menu. When you click on it, go to the game category and in the game category there should be an option that says core lighting. Once you click on core lighting, you can enable whether you want the colors you see on display to show on the front, back or both. This also has other options to choose from.

- A:Answer There is a 3.5mm jack near the hdmi ports on the back and it comes with a cable to plug into computer speakers that you have to purchase separately. I bough the Bose Companion speakers.
