Almost perfect for me
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.If it was 32" and had HDR 600 or better, I'd consider this THE perfect monitor for my mixed usage. 28" is kind of small coming from a 32" Odyssey G7. But picture quality is great, I don't have any issues with gaming, and I'm just having a great time for the most part. I'd definitely recommend it.

Great monitor!

I've noticed some people complain that it's not IPS, but rather a VA display. However, this is a newer version of the Odyssey G7 that came out a few months ago. The older version is a VA monitor with the curved screen. I don't know if that one is still available, but this is indeed a flat 28" IPS display. Also, the 144hz refresh rate is plenty fast for me.

Read the reviews well I wish I would of listened to them before luckily I returned it and purchased a Sony TV instead x85k beautiful TV perfect for the PS5

Good Display Quality, Poor access to cable ports

It's been a learning experience finding out how much this display will perform vs how much power my Dell G7 Gaming Laptop/RTX 2070 can put out. I now see that the specs may allow it but lots of other factors go into getting my games (single player RPGs) to run smoothly at hi def. Let's just say this more monitor than I can power to its full capacity and I look forward to eventually getting a full on gaming system to run it with or a next gen console if they ever become available. I don't use the lights on the bottom side or on the back and the form factor for plugging in cables on the back is very poor. I plug the HDMI cable in and out from my Xbox daily so it's a pain to find the right spot each time. It performs excellent at the lower settings so I would recommend it, especially if you keep your cables plugged in all the time.
