One day it would turn on and off a handful of times while there were other days that it wouldn't turn off. For this price I thought it was a good deal for a 4k HDMI 2.1 monitor for new consoles, but maybe I just got a bad one.

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Not the best, I bought this monitor to replace my QHD monitor that I was using with my Xbox series x, but the colors don’t pop and the brightness is lower than what I was use to, mine had a dead pixel right in the middle also, I will say the black levels were pretty good, but I ended up returning and going with something else.

Broken Promises

The packaging was absolutely poor with only thrown bubble wrap put in the box (no protective casings or paper), while the legs and stand were thrown onto the monitor causing scratching. Best buy said excellent condition with the monitor, but it was damaged and the back piece was missing entirely. Returned for a full refund, no replacement was offered. A shame, as the monitor was beautiful on the non-damaged portions.

Monitor works great, used it on a PC with an RTX 3080 and a PS5. Display is wonderful after adjusting HDR, brightness, black equalizer, and the other settings. I would highly recommend this monitor if its on sale at or below $600.

It also upscales lower resolutiona flawlessly. That being said, its color accuracy is pretty ifd, with its default white being very red. This can be fixed in settings, but its alot of finicky work. Also, its local dimming consists solely as 8 vertical backlights, so a white mouse cursor on a black screen creates a noticable bleed through

I bought it as a second monitor for my workstation, and to switch over to play games on my Xbox Series X. Since the workstation uses displayport cables, I can switch input over in a second with the simple monitor control button, and back to work quickly. The clarity, brightness, framerate and response time are all top class. There is a noticable improvement in this monitor next to a Samsung G5 and G3 monitors.
