Not the best for PS5

HDR is incredibly lackluster as it's only 400 nits making some games borderline unplayable they're so dim. Avoid, save for a quality OLED display that you don't have to make any compromises with.

white screen of death to a permanent grey fade

But a week later, I started getting the grey fade and after messing with the settings. Seems like i picked a bad quality monitor and returned it.

Not worth the price

The 4K 120hz on ps5 isn’t as smooth as I thought. Not sure if m got a defected monitor. There’s judder in the picture when running at 120hz. Using hdmi 2.1 and updated firmware. For $800 not worth it.

Stick with LG

This new one has dead pixels out the box… All in a span of 2 months since original purchase.

Don’t bother - won’t get 4K @ 120hz

Of course I updated it to latest firmware first. That was a pain and I had to use a brand new thumb drive just to get that to work. Even with that, I was unable to get 4K @ 120hz on neither PS5 or PC (with capable GPU). I tried every setting possible - tried both inputs, different cables, AV mode vs PC. nothing worked. Called Samsung - they couldn’t get it working either and told me to return. For $650 (discounted) this is a joke. Samsungs quality has gone down hill. Feel the same with TVs. I’ll wait for a better option. Thanks for nothing Samsung.

Get the warranty!

It would not cover the cost of shipping your monitor to us, but does cover the cost of shipping the monitor back to you. You are responsible for shipping fees to Samsung Customer Service; we recommend using a trackable shipping service like UPS.

On my 2nd replacement

Samsungs QC is horrible. There monitors are known to be defective. If youre A console gamer youll never notice. 4K at 120hz is great. Once you switch to 144hz with adaptive sync on, get ready for monitor flickering and back light bleed. This also happened my 32’ Neo g8. I recommend purchasing from a place like bestbuy to easily get it swapped out. The local dimming is mediocare as well.

Display port issue

When I brought it home it was broken right out of the box. Had another arrive and it stopped working in a week. Soon as I load up a game it turns off with Display port signal not connected. Further research lead me to finding out this model has a lot of issues with display staying connected. I've tried everything I know and more. Beware.

We got a different brand 500 cheaper. Look better the processor is faster. If you going for name brand not worth it.

Total waste

Almost a week later I am having a unfixable and Unignorable problem where the screen constantly flickers. No matter what I plug in it in to no matter which HDMI cord. I use please spend your money wisely else where won’t be buying from Samsung again.

Black screen

Smh really disappointed was told to contact samsung i looked into it and it appears acouple of ppl have experienced this problem.

Bad monitor

But it doesnt displau anything unless i turn my pc on and off like 10-15 times unplug the Display port back and forth 10-15 times. Last time i had a samsung 4k monitor it did the same. Guess going back to LG again. Would not recomend at all

Do not buy this if you value your money

The colors are so faded and grey, the material of the monitor is cheap plastic, It has craptastic calibration out the box, it had noticeable amount of backlight bleed as well. The total price for this garbage is $880…. You can buy a 4k 32inch monitor with that price. Horrible value. DO NOT BUY

Defective

Day one, easy set up, great monitor, 4K on COD worh 130+ fps. Day 2 ...The screen is blank and the menu wont even display. Chatted with samsung support and they told me the item seems to be defective. After searching online for help it seems like this is a relatively common issue. Getting returned now.

I’m sure people have gotten a working product but as for me? I got not one, not two but THREE different ones shipped to be because all of them had three different separate issues. Also the first defective one shipped to me was an “open box” which I did not want.

Not bright enough with backlight bleed

To me this monitor was not bright enough or had the colors i had expected for this price range. Switched to lg insead and i have been happy so far
