This monitor works awesome with ps5! i have been getting 120hz and 4k on vanguard and warzone! the frame drops are not noticeable since the ps5 can not do steady 120hz, but it lowers to 100-120hz but this monitor is the best option out there. I do happen to have backlight bleed during loading screens or so, but when playing games its not noticeable. my monitor was updated already and was ready to use the 4k 120 hz on ps5. Just make sure you change the settings from the monitor and the ps5 to enable 120hz. it will display 60hz during the menu, but once you are playing a game that is capable of 120hz the monitor will be set to 120hz.

Hi, i bought this for my series x, and my pc. First things first... GET the firmware from the samsung website and update it via USB 2.0 it completly updates it with any issues that you may occur if you do. Ive had this monitor for about 2 months and i havent had any issues, it is a tad darker then other monitors but with a little tweaking and changing the picture from PC to AV it will make everything better and turn off local dimming. So far forza horizon 5 on the series x with this monitor is the most realistic and best vivid picture ive ever seen. I highly reccomend this monitor if you do not wanna spend more than $1000 ENJOY!!!

I purchased this monitor from Samsung and picked up at Bestbuy. I was really excited for this. However when i hooked it up and turned it on i only got DP port not connected on screen. It was clearly connected properly. Upon investigating further i realized in settings there were three DP options. 1.1, 1.2 and 1.4. It was by default on 1.4. So i switched it to 1.1 and the screen popped on. First thing i noticed was how beautiful the colors were, simply amazing. However my refresh rate was only 30hz for 4k and 60hz non 4k. Up until now i still haven't figured out the problem. I know its DP port 1.4. It gas to be, the DP port it came with should of supported 1.4 as it had 8k written on it. I ordered another DP cord that is sure to support 1.4 4k @144hz. I have all the latest drivers and firmware installed. Im sure my 3080ti can handle it. My Nvidia and display panel are correct too. It just wont fix the refresh rate. If the new cord i receive tomorrow from Amazon doesn't fix the problem ill be returning the monitor. It also did not come with 4 screws for the mounting back plate. I have a 4 arm mount stand and this monitor requires you attach a back plate first to the monitor that then attaches to the mount arm. So you need 8 screws total. You should have the 4 screws that are with the mount arm, but will require 4 more screws for the back plate that goes on monitor. For me its been too many problems for this mame brand item out of the box.

Great monitor!! I have the PS5 and was looking for a 4k monitor with hdmi 2.1. Plugged it in and it worked perfect. I would strongly recommend this monitor to others.

I purchased this monitor new as a part of Best Buy's Cyber Monday sale. It has displayed multiple defects over the last few weeks, which is concerning since I have owned the monitor for little more than a month. The first week the monitor was great, then it developed a bright red vertical line stretching from the top to the bottom of the screen, presumably from a loose tab/bond at the bottom of the panel. I was within the return window, but had already thrown out the packaging so taking it back was sadly no longer an option. After applying pressure to the bottom bezel I was able to get the red line to go away but it came back a few more times, I repeated applying light pressure to the bezel whenever it would happen. Over the last 10 days or so the red line *fingers crossed* hasn't returned, however I have little confidence that this won't become an issue again somewhere down the line. I recently had a TV from Samsung that experienced the same problem, a bright red line from a tab defect. This is something I have NEVER dealt with while using monitors and TVs made by other brands, but both the Samsung TV/monitors I've owned have had this issue. I was never able to fix the TV, I'm fortunate I seem to have fixed this issue, at least for now, with my monitor. The 2nd issue is a few days ago the panel developed a bright green/white stuck pixel. Nothing I do will fix the stuck pixel, not lightly massaging the defective area on the panel, not running pixel correcting videos/software, nothing. It's small, but it drives me insane any time I look at the screen when the rest of the screen is dark and that thing is glowing at me. At this point I almost hope the red line comes back so I can RMA the entire panel. The build quality for a $700 monitor is simply unacceptable, to have defects showing up like this a little over a month into ownership is absurd. I handle my stuff with care, this shouldn't happen. Also just a word of warning, Samsung won't replace a panel for a stuck/hot pixel, which I didn't find out until I was looking into the issues I was having further. My advice - Look into similar panels from Asus, LG, or Alienware, I've never had any defect issues with any of their panels. I bought this monitor because it was the first HDMI 2.1 4k monitor I could get my hands on, but after this experience I can't see myself ever purchasing another Samsung product. Don't get me wrong; the colors, the response time, the refresh rate, and the resolution on this monitor are all great when they're working, but it's completely useless when the panel has so many issues. Steer clear!

It works great for both consoles. I know i read some reviews that it wasn't working for PS5 120HZ. I never encountered that issue, but that could be due to the fact it was on its latest firmware out of the box. Just make sure the monitor is up to date and you change the source from PC to AV and you get 4K 120HZ

Bought this to use with PS5 due to the hdmi 2.1. Able to run warzone and Cold War at 4K 120 FPS, looks amazing! Make sure you download the firmware update from Samsung website.

Excellent out of the box experience. I will never be able to game at lesser resolution again. Decently priced, though sadly went in sale only a few weeks after purchase

I was so excited the first to day to get this and guess what! There were no god dang speakers i expected speakers for whooping 600 dollars? Now i have to speakers That are compatible cause i bought some new speakers never found a slot

This monitor might be more then what you need for console gaming. It pretty much does everything and then some.

Bought this monitor and within 2 months had green lines running down. Samsung warranty process is painful and took 2 months to get a payment. Overall terrible experience.
