  • Great electronics, crunchy track pad

    I did my research and decided to get this Chromebook, and was really happy with its performance - but then the trackpad started getting "crunchy" in the lower left corner within a couple of days. I considered living with it because the display and the on-board stylus are so great - but every time I would hold it as a tablet or click on something I would react as one does to a mysterious rattle in a car, "Is something seriously wrong, or is it just a loose item?" Back to the store I go, and I see that the display model does the exact same "crunch and stick"! Sweet validation! I ended up choosing a less powerful Chromebook but one that feels more solid. I walked out of the store with a smaller tablet, bundled with a case and stylus, and a $155 refund. Rhymes with "Pacer". Samsung is a great company, but knees and track pads just shouldn't crunch...

    Never dropped, taken very good care of but the left hinge is broke in under 3 years. So disappointed.

    Wife bought this for college and we decided a chromebook is the way to go, took it out of the box it was slow and the mouse wasnt functioning.
