I purchased this vacuum thinking it would work good as we have three dogs and their hair can be an issue. We have it cleaning two rooms as the rest of our house is under light renovations. Despite the sales person's at best buy telling me the pet hair would not be a problem, as it would slowly grind it up if it got caught, it is a problem. The hair gets caught once or twice every time causing an error code. We have tried to run this while we sleep but it is way to loud and the second time we tried it at night there were three error codes, which I had to continuously get out of bed to correct them. The vacuum's battery life is horrible as it can barely finish the rooms in one charge and if there is an error code, forget it. The night I had three error codes it recharged and then went out to finish, to only have the 2nd and third error code. Its not fun having to wake up multiple time, its either that or listen to the thing beep forever. When it comes to cleaning it is higher than they said it is as I measured for it to fit under my couch and it cannot get under all of it, despite the measurements given. It does not always find its way into open areas like under a table or between chair legs that are more than wide enough.

It really picks up dirt I wasn’taware that was on floor. It is a little noisey.Has a weird way of going from room to room.It cleaned dining room twice and hall three times. Then finally went to bedrooms. The main readon Iwanted it is for kitchen and utility room. It really does a great job. Wish there was more barrier strips. I love it.

This is a great vacuum and really helps keep my dog’s hair under control and allows my floors to stay clean!

These is my 3rd unit, the first one lasted about 20 min and was out of battery and the second one start with an error code at the 30 days after purchase, so when I got the replacement from bestbuy I decided to spend a little more more money in the protection plan

This vacuum saves time and makes my home feel clean as a whistle. I go to work and come home to a fresh clean home!

This vacuum works effortlessly with our wifi and does a great job at picking up all the dust and hair from our furbabies. It's a bit special when it comes to high thresholds but would still recommend

First caveat -- I'm not gonna drop my rating because of the app. I'll talk about that later, but I'm focusing on it's actual function. Here's my experience with the robot so far. I'm personifying him a bit because of the way he thoughtfully finds his way around a cluttered room. We have two big dogs and hardwood floors, and we have rugs and runners, so we have dog hair that collects along the walls and in the corners. Also my office is fairly cluttered with chairs and cords on the floor. I was really eager to play with this; it was up and running right away for some test runs. At first it was really clumsy, bumping into things, changing direction, missing spots, but it was fun to watch and it really sucked up stuff right away. I let it fully charge before trying it again. It picked its way around the house. It had trouble with some of our cheap runners, they got tangled up. Half the time the robot was able to untangle itself, other times it called for help. However, I don't know if this is real or if I'm imagining it, but it seemed to learn. After getting hung up on the runners a half dozen times, it figured out a way to get onto the runners and vacuum them without getting tangled. I'm totally amazed that it doesn't get tangled on power cords, but that hasn't been an issue at all. I'm also learning how to unclutter my house... So -- it takes care of those drifts of dog hair in the corners and along the baseboards. It even goes under chairs. Sometimes it pushes the dining chairs around, but that's okay. The canister does fill up, but I'm sure that will reduce as it gets used more frequently since there will be less to pick up. I'm amazed at how much it can suck up out of the livingroom rugs. Get it for that vacuum power and for the convenience of letting it run and keep your floor clean. As for the app -- it was a pain for me to connect it. I use a Google Pixel, and the app just wouldn't connect to the vacuum reliably. I had to keep logging into the app with my Samsung username and password. I finally got the vacuum connected using my Samsung tablet. My phone now shows the vacuum but says it's disconnected. but the vacuum does send alarms to my phone when it gets stuck or when I pick it up. The Wi-Fi functionality is frustrating. Overall, this thing is awesome and I'm looking forward to using it long term.

Sorry. But Samsung must do better. This unit gets lost all the time and the super-small port through which it collects debris defies logic. Why would a designer create a vacuum that encourages plugging? I got too busy and missed the return deadline, so I am stuck with it.

I love this vacuum. It's pretty powerful. They battery life could be better though.

I have 4 dogs and 2 cats. We only run this when we're home. We can tell such a difference in the home! So easy to clean, and leaves the floor so smooth feeling!!

This is my first Robot Vacuum, and I think it is wonderful. I dont see any issues at all, and I dont think it is because this is my first vacuum robot, for me it is just simply a nice unit that does its job very well. Also the setup and the app installation and configuration and wifi connection was easy and zero problems. My phone is a Samsung, I downloaded the app, which is the Samsung Smart Home, then I followed the steps and all done. But first you have to follow the steps of the small start up manual that comes with the unit. Power on the unit pressing the red buttom that is below the robot, and let it charge on the base for about an hour. Once it is fully charge then just follow the set up procedure with the app configuration. Press the clock key of the remote, and when the "APP" shows up on the Robot Display, it means is connecting. The rest is basically intuitive. As I told before, I didnt see any issues at all doing the configuration, I think it is great and simple. It alerts you and pause the operation if you lift the robot up. It also has a nice messaging system that allows you to see the notifications for when it is done or starting to clean, entered eco mode, picked up, stuck etc. Everything you do with the remote you can do it with the app, which it is a great advantage. Ok, lets go to performance suction. Suction operation with this unit it is above average. It can differentiate between carpet and not carpet flooring and changes its suction accordingly. I have a Golden Retriever, so there is no one single day that I can see hair on carpet or floor. This unit does its job and I now am feeling really confident that hair will be vaccum every day. This model also had the self-cleaning brush and I haven't had any issues. The cleaning pattern is very regular and logical. The battery seems to be really good too. When back at the charger it charges for about 15 minutes or less and then says full so I could see this easily doing 4-5X the space on a charge. This robot navigates my home really well. However when it comes to places like the leg of my counter chairs, and it is fighting to find the way, I noticed that it ran out of battery faster. The robot also has the edge master cleaning. This means that it has a guard in the front that comes down and pulls the dust in. Overall, this unit is designed to operate by itself and worries free for the user, only thing you have to do is to clean it from time to time, which is what a robot operation should be, as we saw in the cartoons when we were kids. I absolutely recommend this Robot Vaccum Powerbot R7070 due to its power suction (40x more) and the Samsung App, I think it is worth the price.

I have been using the Samsung r7070 vacuum for 3 months now. I would highly recommend this vacuum. my wife was mad at first when I brought it home. but now she loves it as well. we have 3 dogs and the hair would get out of hand quick. but this vacuum has helped a great deal.

Great purchase! I have the perfect layout to use one of the robots. Turn it on and it works, hassle free! It really does clean and now you are free to do other things. We even clean the house when we are away because you can run it from your smartphone! Timesaver!

I run it every day. Amazed how much material it picks. Should have had one a long time ago.

Liked the overall performance but I didn't like how small the debris compartment was.

This was a pretty deece robot vacuum. It didnt work well with my vaulted ceiling.

I HAVE A 60 FT RANCH SO I BOUGHT 2 OF THESE FOR EACH END OF THE HOUSE, I HAVE LAMINATE FLOORING THRU OUT THE HOUSE SO I CONFINE THE UNITS TO SPECIFIC AREA BY USE OF ADJUSTABLE CURTAIN RODS AT DOORWAYS OTHERWISE UNITS WILL LEAVE THE ROOM IF DOOR IS OPEN BEFORE COMPLETING.

Returned product due to performance. The AI needs more development. It cleaned some rooms but never entered others after several runs. It would get caught on edge of area rug and kept spinning tearing up the corners. Two times it couldn't find it's home.
