I purchased the vacuum and it worked great for the first 15 days. On the 15th day it stopped vacuuming but still moved around the house as if it was. I went to return it on the 19th day since it broke and I decided I really didn't need it anyway. Unfortunately Best Buy has a 15 day return policy so it's mine if I like it or not. It has currently been mailed to the manufacturer to be fixed, but from here on out I'm no longer a Best Buy customer.

The only downside of the product is it gets stuck in table and chair legs every now and then. Seems to work better the more times that it is used

Yes. Our POWERBot is a him. He doesn't have a name yet, but will get named soon. He does a good job on hardwood floors and tiles. Very pleased.

The vacuum is very powerful. I have a two year old and she can ride on it while its moving. I love that I can turn it on and off from my phone.

So we did our research and thought wow this is every pet owners dream. I will say this probably has the best power out there for robot vacuums that is just like your plug in vacuum. The down side is it is not as smart as we thought. It never fully cleaned the rooms, never made it back to the charger, and definitely didn’t clean in a pattern you would think it would for the room. In the demo they show a bare bone room with nothing in it so of course it works just fine.....who’s homes look like this. Overall A+ for power, D- for robotics.

house feel more then ever since we're not house all day, and we have pets that go in and out of the house, floor and carpet are dust free now

In the past I have owned the competition's vac - Neato Botvac and I loved it. I noticed that Samsung was entering the robot vac world and thought I would give them a try. There is plenty of power and the vac is very smart. Having the remote control is a nice feature as well. I noticed that the vac does a great job at avoiding land mines such as socks and rarely gets hung up. It simply cleans well, hardwood, carpet, tile, and throw rugs. HOWEVER, after just two months of owning this vac the bearings in the roller have become jammed with hair. I clean this vac often and have to cut hair off the roller at times. This vac is suppose to be built for small amounts of hair as it is the "pet"vac model and had small razors built into the roller housing to manage hair. It is a fantastic machine, it just has this one major design flaw. I will say that the Neato Botvac had a roller bearing design that never had trouble with hair (newer models) although the hair had to be removed from the roller at times. Buy the Neato Botvac, it is the best robot vacuum made. It is all they make and have mastered the design.

Purchased this model based upon Consumer Reports rating and because Best Buy had it on a special with an enticing price. I was initially exploring the $200 models instead of a $500 model. After I read some of the complaints about the cheaper ones (expensive and hard to find disposable filters, haphazard vacuum patterns, noise, weak performance) I decided on this model. Although initial outlay is more, it comes with a washable, reusable filter; a very BIG plus. It works well on pet hair. It is not silent, but its noise level is about 1/4 that of a vacuum; tolerable and you can hold a conversation with this in the room. This was scored low in ease of programming it with your cell phone, but since I am a technical idiot, I don't go that fancy. Its pattern is zig-zag, and it makes a lot of turns as if tentative in which way to go next. It is low enough to go under beds and coffee tables. It is great on a bare floor, just ok on carpets. It doesn't do stairs or couches, so you'll still need your canister or upright vacuum. This helps keep dust and dirt minimal between the main vacuuming, which mitigates allergens.

Does a good job of cleaning hardwood floors and carpet. Used 6 days a week using the medium fan speed. Collection bin cleaned after most usages (sponge filter not washed after each use). Fan Assembly became very noisy at about 18 months of usage. The installed Fan Assembly sticker was "VCM-140CLDA". Attempted to contact the Samsung parts supplier J&J Parts through their website twice and did not receive an answer regarding the Fan Assembly. Called Samsung Customer Care and they wanted the powerbot mailed back for repair. Found the Fan Assembly on another internet website listed as DJ97-02492A and purchased a refurbished Fan Assembly. Additionally purchased two additional Sponge Filters. Cleaning the collection bin and washing the sponge filter after each use. Additionally, the Drum Brush Assembly requires periodic cleaning to remove hair from around the shaft. At the two year mark, battery needed to be replaced, based on the money already put into the first powerbot, this one was purchased. Using the lessons learned from the first powerbot, not running it as often, so far so good.

This robot vacuum is very intuitive and doesn’t bang into many obstacles like others I have seen. It senses objects before and moves out of the way. Battery life is plenty to go over a living room, kitchen, hallway, laundry room and half bath multiple times. Happy with my purchase!

Good suction power on carpets, ease of use. Highly recommend.

I've been shocked every time I run this vacuum with just how much it picks up! Cleaning the vacuum is incredibly easy. I've noticed the battery doesn't last quite as long as I would like, but it holds a charge for a good couple of hours and gets my home comfortably clean during that time. I've been very happy with this.

This unit seems to have good suction and I am so happy it makes straight lines. I couldn’t handle the Roomba being so random.

Vacuum works good however it has a mind of its own to what room its going to work on first in automated mode.

I love this thing. It does an excellent job vacuuming my home every night. It goes from hardwood to carpet with no issue. It maneuvers very well and I rarely find it stuck somewhere in the morning. It's not a full 5 stars since it is loud. It might bother lighter sleepers or dogs. Even on quiet mode it's a jarring, and it gets louder on carpet and rugs. All in all though, I have not regretted this purchase one bit.

Better than my Roomba but is taller. Cant get under tv stand (Roomba could) and hates light throw rugs. We have 7 because of dog. Both still need work
