The Samsung pro is an excellent product, the only negative is I wish the battery was better.

Very poor hing design. Broke after 10 months and Best Buy would not fix. Gave me credit for Chromebook but not for the balance of 3 year warranty (cost me $150+). Hinges on new Samsung Chromebook are starting to stick after only 6 months and will probably break soon. I'll buy a different brand next time

Tried hooking up mouse and keyboard via Type C hub, no luck, got too hot and acted erractically. Tried Bluetooth, no luck, kept connecting for about 3 seconds then disconnected. If you want to use exterior mouse and keyboard this isn't for you.

If you're wondering what the difference is between this Samsung Chromebook Pro and the other one on this site (SKU 6111507) there are exactly three differences, most minor. First is storage; this one has 32GB while the other is 64GB, a bit of a downgrade, but it still keeps the USB-C and microSD card slot. Next is the keyboard... it's now backlit. Very faint and a sort of greenish hue to it, but I only saw it in stores so can't say how bright-- Much dimmer than the Asus C302 by comparison in how they look in stores with the heavy lights. And the third is practically insignificant: The end of the stylus is colored black. Thestylus is still silver, but now the small circle that shows out is colored black to match the black chassis. Still the exact same 6th Gen Core M3-6Y30; no upgrade to the 7th Gen that powers the HP Chromebook X2 detachable Chromebook, so it's roughly 20% slower compared to that model in benchmarks for web tasks. Luckily it kept the same great high res 2400 x 1600 panel and reaches a great 400 nit brightness. Glad they kept that! Keyboard layout is the same, so unlike the Plus V2 that got totally rehauled in ergonomics, this one is the same minus the addition of backlighting now.

Purchased this for my daughter to use for school...screen was a bit on the small size for her. Though it was useful, I would recommend a larger screen for anyone using it for school.

they think the hard drive is dead it was telling me it needed to reinstall the os

A 30+ year Windows veteran, this is my first Chromebook, and boy, am I pleased! I did lots of research before heading out to test the wares at BestBuy. I wanted a lightweight laptop running Chrome OS - something I could use primarily for writing on the fly, with some entertainment thrown in for good measure. I wanted a clear bright screen, good battery life, thin bezels, small footprint, and backlit keyboard, I got all that and more. This laptop stood out among the others on display, with its glorious screen. No other similarly sized device was as bright or beautiful. The narrow bezels, 2,400 x 1,600 display resolution, backlit keyboard, stylus, snappy response, and intuitive OS make me a true believer. While I wasn't initially sold on the whole 2-in-1 experience, I sure am now, after using the device to read downloaded magazines from the library, and watching Netflix/YouTube/Hulu. Some have complained about the keyboard being cramped. It hasn't presented the slightest problem for me, but I went into this seeking a smaller form factor. I'm loving this device!

Everything is difficult from saving documents to editing them. I have it a short time and hardly use it. I should have bought the ipad I wanted -was told this could compete with the ipad but it is really a piece of junk. Constantly looses the Wi Fi connection right next to the Apple products that don't. Don't waste your money.

I’ve had a Toshiba Chromebook for years and thought this would be an upgrade. Wrong! The screen is not sharp and is weirdly shaped, and the supposedly backlit keyboard is not backlit and quite mushy. Thank goodness for Best Buy’s excellent return policy.

great Chromebook. I love the integration with Samsung. This is a fairly durable Laptop as the outside case is metal. Highly suggest this computer.
