Customers have good things to say about the Radiant360 R1 Speaker's sound quality, ease of use, and Bluetooth connectivity. Many appreciate its compact size and impressive volume, even noting the surprisingly good bass response for its size. However, some users experienced challenges with battery life, connection stability, and initial setup, while others found the app and compatibility with certain devices to be less than ideal. The price point is generally considered favorable.

I read many reviews before purchasing and most people only complained about the "old app" as being the main problem so figured I would give them a shot anyway since they had supposedly updated this. The app is terrible! Once the speakers were connected and working together as rear surround for my soundbar (HW-J7500R); which took almost 45 minutes to link together they would randomly disconnect. It seemed like every time I turned the system on they would need to go through the long process of syncing all over again or would not connect at all and I would have to manually sync them. On top of the clunky connection and weak sound; being forced to run the whole system from the app completely took ALL previous functionality away from the soundbar itself. I could no longer use the preset equalizer or any of the built in functions. Finally they made the entire system super quiet; previously my soundbar itself has a max volume of 50 and I would routinely run it from 18-24 maximum. Once the rear speakers were attached and ran via the Samsung app I would need to turn it up to 40 just for "reasonable sound" and without access to the equalizer they sounded atrocious and by that I mean 100% worse than my 5 year old $120 off brand this nearly $600 setup was replacing. Additionally, when in this configuration if the show I was watching was not presented in 5.1 surround sound the rear speakers would take over as additional front speakers rather than just phasing out and made for a very strange sounding experience. I would not recommend these for use with a home theater system; by themselves maybe, if you only planned to have one per room to stream music. But as a surround system they are terrible.
