The first one came nicely packaged, the speaker was wrapped and had plastic protector sheet on top. This one was not wrapped, no plastic, and it was dusty/dirty. I'm disappointed, if I wanted a previously owned item, I would have purchased open-box for cheaper.

On occasion the Bluetooth reception was finicky when I used mp3s as the sound source. The volume increments sometimes seemed too large but overall I am very satisfied with the product.

However, the lackluster surround sound it produces does not justify the cost. Also, for use as part of a surround system, you need two. The store personnel didn't seem too knowledgeable about the product, either.
