We had difficulties with connecting the speaker at first, Geek squad recommended upgrading our internet speed which we did and we have not had a problem since. Very happy with the speaker.

But!!! It's hard to install both speakers. And when you finally do they go out and in with the syncing do to the wifi connection. And I have att an good dervish so I'm not 100% happy.

I recently purchased a 65" Samsung TV 8 series and the J8500 sound Bar. Super happy. Was looking at the Radiant360 R7 Wi-Fi Speaker to complement the sound experience and finally purchased it.
The best thing about this speaker is that I purchased it from Best Buy and was able to return it. Sorry Samsung. Thank you Best Buy.

This is the most interesting device. There are TWO versions of it . There's a demo version that has a WIRED connection connecting to it, you are not limited on what you can play on this machine in the demo version because it will plug and play on any device that accept the plug obviously... You will only see the demo version at your retail stores like Best Buy. Before I get into depth about the subject at hand, your music and your audio experience will be limited either by wifi or Bluetooth. Bluetooth will let you listen to anything that can connect to it; however, it will severely diminsh your audio experience with the radiant in regards to sound quality. In addition, there is a lag in audio ( if you watch a movie you will see the lip of someone singing before you can here the sound, a 2 seconds delay that can be frustrating). The sound quality coming out of any Bluetooth is poor at best regardless what any one tells you. In regard to noticeable physical difference between the demo and the consumer version - The demo version has two wires coming out of the base of the radiant (one is the power cord and the other is suspected to be a 3.5 mm jack) and the wireless version(consumer version) only have the power cord coming out at the base of the model. On a side note , there is a micro usb at the bottom of the model, supposedly only for upgrading firmware. Back to the customer model( the wireless version) at hand and for the remainder of my review I will be talking in regards to the wifi experience: You will be severely limited by Samsung software called multi room app.This app allows you to play their version of compatible audio format through either a shareable drive in your wireless home network or via your phone/ tablet/ computer stored audio files. Streaming music applications such as Pandora , Iheart , and etc only work through the Samsung multiroom application; again you will be limited on what music streaming applications will be supported by Samsung multiroom app. However if you are like me and like to listen to music video on YouTube, NPR, or any multimedia website then you will not be able to unless you connect your device to Bluetooth. Bluetooth audio experience is absolutely mediocre at best due to lag and quality. What about watching movies on your phone or computer, again you will not be able to listen to it through wifi unless you switch over to Bluetooth. Absolutely terrible, I know! Here you have a really wonderful consumer audio device but so limited in what it can play at high qaulity over wifi. Unfortunately, I do not have Samsung tv to review the audio connect capability they have for their tv.
This machine has its own operation system/software in it so when you play a streaming application like Pandora through the multiroom app on your phone, you can turn off the multiroom app along with Pandora on your phone afterward and Pandora will still work because it is actually streaming within its own opertating software.
In conclusion, I believe that with the wire connection to this device you will have a very rich and enjoyful experience with the radiant.
I would love it if a Samsung rep could get in contact with me. I have questions, I would like ask that are mentioned here.
