We really like this speaker. It looks different, sits out of the way and works flawlessly. We have it connected to our samsung 55" tv using the sound connect feature and there is nothing left to wish for. It performs as if it was a part of the tv set. I'd definitely buy this product again.

This is another solid product by Samsung . Sound quality is crisp and clear , and even has nice bass considering the size of the speaker . Only conplaint is I wish the price was a little less , simply because I feel that having 2 of these speakers for each side of my television in our entertainment room would sound even nicer ....

THE APP WORKS POORLY WITH MY IPHONE, WORKS BETTER WITH SAMSUNG TABLET, DOES NOT USE iTUNES. THE OVAL SHAPE WORKS, WANT TO BUY CEILING MOUNT. THE SOUND IS FANTASTIC.

Incredible sound....The apps, that works on wifi mode, need some improvement, but you can run wathever you want in bluetooth. Uniformity of the sound is better than any speaker and projection is very deep. I will certainly purchase a second speaker for my living room.

I was moving to a new home and bought a Samsung curved sound bar, 2 R7's, 2 M7's, and 2 M5's. and a hub. I was told by the sales rep that was all I needed. The speakers are distorted when I tried to use them all together plus they will not work with the soundbar. Sometimes 1 or 2 would work together and the others would not work. After countless hours I gave up. They are great speakers if you only want to use one with you cellphone. I will give the M7's and M5's to my children for Christmas presents.

We have the Soundbar and R7 connected to the TV and my music loving husband absolutely loves it. Have the Multiroom app on all devices and can control the sound and equalizer with iPad and iPhone. With X1 Xfinity can watch the Blackhawks game on the patio using our iPad Pro and listen through the R7. Very cool!

The documentation says "Built-in Wi-Fi allows you to access your favorite Internet Radio stations", but the Wi-Fi streaming is limited to the built in services of the speaker. I actually wanted to listen to slacker and some others. I thought this would be more universally comparable, plug and play. This is proprietary. I returned this and got a Sonos cheaper.

These speakers give out excellent 360 degree sound. Definitely fills the room. We bought 2 of them and they sound awesome when they are grouped or put into stereo mode. I love the fact that I can play music through the app and when I am done say "Alexa, connect my speaker" and she automatically reconnects to the R7.

I bought this thinking it would be better than the Samsung R3 I bought a week earlier. I was going to return the R3. After the got the R7 home and it out, I was disappointed. There wasn't a good amount of bass with it. The R3 has equal amount of treble and bass. I returned the R7.

Great speaker if your using it for a personal bluetooth speaker. Not great for surround sound.
