It's lighter and more comfortable to hold than 10.1", but readable screen size, not noticeble smaller than 10" but noticeble bigger than 7" tablet. I think it is perfect size. You will have to feel it yourself in the nearst Bestbuy to understand what I am talking about.

I peviously bought an ipad mini and didn't like it at all. It was very confusing. I returned it! I got this pad three weeks ago and like it. It's really easy to use and works really well.

This is the best tablet i have used. I got rid of my larger tablet due the the 8 inch sweet spot. Just small enough to be easily portable and enough screen size to enjoy movies and games.

Very enjoyable to use and easy to take everywhere. Fast on my games and the web access is just as fast.can handle all my email, excel and word documents. I don't leave home without it.

I have little hands, so this tablet is the perfect size for me. I can carry it in my purse and nobody would even know it was with me. it has the processing power i need in a tablet, and can do everything i need it to. i wish the battery lasted a bit longer, but its not a deal breaker.

I bought this for business because I was interested in the "S Pen". Now, I write all my stuff from company meetings on this tablet and I don't have to worry about losing papers anymore. Thank you, this has been a grand slam.

This is a pretty good tablet to own. Has a lot of neat features. The s-pen is a real neat gadget. My son even loves playing with my tablet. Very child friendly. Comes when a lot of great apps and can add a lot of apps for free. This is a great investment to do a lot of things with.

I love my tablet! I use it for school. I have folders for every single class and I also love the handwriting on the Snote. Over all it is a great tablet for education and all around as well. I am a previous owner of the ipad and I switched to this tablet and I love love love the SPen!

I needed a pad that i could take notes without typing it in. So I researched every tablet. The Galaxy Note 8.0 tablet was perfect. Small and I could write with a stylus. This is what I will be using when I go back to school.

I really enjoy going to the Samsung Counter and talking to the person about the Newer products. He knew a lot about the Samsung products and gave me his honest opinion. I mentioned I loved the old 10.1 note and he was going over what I would LOVE about the Note 8. He also informed me they had an open box buy I would be able to get a little cheaper! I save a few dollars and nothing was wrong with the Open Box One! I Love the product and plan on 2014 to incorporate more use of a paperless environment, I believe this will help in that direction! Keep up the GREAT work Samsung! you are surpassing the other companies in my book!!

i like to use samsung product and this one is good one as i have 10.1 note also and this one is small compac size which can carry easily. fast procesor and latest soft wear.

As both an Apple and Android user I was torn between the iPad Mini and the Note 8. I have the Note 2 phone so all the apps I use on the phone were easy to add to thte tablet. The screen is extremely sharp and watching movies is no problem. The tablet is fast and there is an app for just about anything you need. I use the handwriting recognition feature frequently and find that its ability to recognize my scrawl is impressive. My only complaint is that my daughter fell in love with it and I ended up buying a second one for her. It is also a perfect size to take out for the day without sacrificing performance or quality.

I exchanged the Note 10.1 for the Newer 8.0. I loved the size of the 10.1, but for daily use and carrying around with me, it was just too large. The Note 8.0 is perfect.

Purchased as a Christmas gift for my wife. Caught a excellent deal on it. She was pleased with the ease of use and quality of it. The pen feature is really a cool addition to have especially when you are the only one with one and other people tablets don't have it.

Bought it for my wife's work since she is often on the road and needs to modify/ sign contracts while mobile. This fits in a purse, yet has a large enough screen to read regular-sized documents without squinting. If you have a Galaxy S4, you'll feel right at home.

Love this tablet. Very easy to use. The size is perfect for travel.

Pricy but you get what you pay for. Fist purchase was a Nexxus 7. Price was about half of the Galaxy . I traded up for the extra screen size and much quicker tablet. Really like the Galaxy. The Only drawback so far is the slippery case.

One of the best devices out on the market, easy to use, slim design, and long battery life. I am an average user and the battery last way longer than anything ive had before. Almost replaces most laptops

Great productive tablet...easy to use, fun, good looking just another cool product from Samsung...I think this is tablet that students should use at school also is great for business and creative persons

I love the speed of my new tablet and the fact that I can do almost anything with it that I can do on my computer. It is very touch responsive. Have created spread sheets for Christmas buying, love the fact that I can "write" notes to myself. Have entered all of my calendar information here now rather than on a paper calendar. Camera makes excellent pics!
