I went from a 2 year old Asus Eee Transformer with docking station to the Samsung Note 8. The screen size is what really bothers me. I would have liked a bigger screen so I could really enjoy Samsung's amazing graphics. It is plastic so it feels very fragile. Should have bought the 2 year warranty from Geek Squad at Best Buy- after all, I got a 323 dollar in store credit because I turned the aged Asus in. That is the only reason I could afford the Note 8. On September 18th 2013 my previous $149 warranty doubled its worth. The Note 8.0 screen is just too small for me to say I am completely satisfied with my purchase. Too expensive as well. Mine cost 359.99 - so I lucked out with the store credit - I owed 64 dollars after all was said and done. Not bad. But no Geek Squad warranty this time.

Bought this for my wife for Xmas and Im not sure she has put it down since. Device is great for work and home. There is a learning curve coming from apple but it is worth the time for the capabilities.

is a perfectly good tablet, you understand. And it has proved very popular. But as much as I admired its superior performance and amazing screen, I couldn't get on with the build quality and design - it just felt too big and too plastic. And as for the (don't call it a stylus) S-P

We are very happy with the samsung tablet. Overall it is a good value for the money. It is everything we expected.

I gave my with this tablet for our anniversary and she loves it. She likes the photo erase feature. When she uses the calendar , she likes the little symbols that can be added to the special dates.

I purchased this tablet to run a software program for my granddaughter and to access my online classroom while on the road. I asked if JAVA was installed on the tablet and I was told that it was. When I tried to use the two programs, I learned that the type of JAVA installed doesn't work on most programs. Why would a company use a program that doesn't work with most software? When I contacted Samsung Technical Support, I was instructed to go to App Store and see if I could find a JAVA program that would work. As a consumer, I thought JAVA was JAVA. Now I have to be a software engineer to use this Tablet. I am disappointed. I have already downloaded several programs trying to find something to make this Tablet useful for me. If not, I've just thrown away over $300!

He used to have an iPad. We wanted a tool he could do more with. For the price, functionality and ease of operating, it's the deal. He loves it!

Excellent product better than apple product by a mile. I have enjoyed this galaxy tablet since I have purchased it. I love polaris where you can down documents sent via email, it is a great tool.

If you have been using a Galaxy S3, this is a bigger version and it is a smooth transition to tablet life. I could be without my laptop for sure.

Overall I would recommend this tablet to a friend. I like the option of exterior storage to supplement the built in memory. The screen auto rotate has given me some trouble with a few games. It rotated it 180 degrees. The play store has a large selection of apps to choose.

Turns out it is a very capable business tool and the kids love using the pen interface! Happy I bought it.

Bought this tablet for my wife who fights joining the modern mobile and wireless age. She became confident using it with minimal instruction from me and learned to love it very quickly.

The only problem I encountered with the tablet was that it was not supported by Verizon, so have to make my cell phone a mobile hotspot to use the internet when not in range of my WiFi

I would recommend this product to anyone who asks me. I'm not an expert but it is working well for me..

I have a Samsung Galaxy 3 phone so wanted to try something similar but in a tablet. Has met my expectations although sometime hard to get everything set up as desired. Also, wi fi connectivity (signal strength) not always the greatest unless very close to router.

I love that I can use it as a computer, easy to carry, use it for everything. Like that Samsung is in all the Best Buy stores ready to help if I have any questions on how to use it.

Got this for the girlfriend. She has only put it down to charge it. She loves it and I do as well. I was trying to decide on this or the 10.1. I was very pleased with the galaxy 8.

I find this item excellent for working moms like me. It saves me time to check my emails, surf the net and have fun with the kids too.

Easy to use, picture perfect quality, very fast even on Wi Fi. Has so many uses it's unmeasurable
