Great item so far and I like the steam function too

This dryer is noisy when drying bulky loads. Help guide suggests adding a towel to balance the load, but that only works for a minute and then it is back to a noisy scraping sound until the item is almost dry. Not sure why this occurs, but is is very annoying.

I don’t like how long it takes to dry my clothes. Always over an hour. Doesn’t seem to get hot enough to dry jeans and heavy towels, disappointed. Didn’t even need a dryer only washer but thought I would get a matching set.

I admit, I purchased this particular washer/dryer set on impulse. Although I was actively searching for a new set, I hadn't done my research and purchased this set based on appearance and available options (steam, etc). I now wish I'd done a little research on the products. Although I haven't yet tried all the cycles, several of the options I have tried do not perform as expected. The sensor dry (either normal or heavy)'causes the cycle to end prematurely, leaving my clothes damp. To ensure my clothes dry completely, I have to use the time dry and determine dry length myself. The heavy load function on my washer can't handle even a single, small throw rug and never enters the spin cycle. I've only had this set a few days, but I'm not at all happy with its performance. Do yourself a favor and check the ratings of other products BEFORE you decide to purchase this pretty set.

Sometimes it takes 2 cycles to dry large covers. It also soaked my shirt when I tried to steam it. Disappointing that they want to charge for the WiFi dongle.

Have to replace dryer after two and a half years because the drum cracked at the weld. Apparently this is an issue with Samsung dryers. Waste of money! So far the washing machine is still going great.

Starting with a noise and in2 days stop working. After a year of buying.

Looks great from the outside. I think the insides are cheap. We had Samsung’s for 10 years and went for t same brand again. The dryer came in busted and won’t dry and the washer vibrates the whole house every 3-4 loads. For those doubters, it was level all he way around. Trading hem in and going to try whirlpools.

Don’t washer very good traded it in for lg ,lot better

This dryer is terrible. The sheets get rolled up tight like a burrito, and everything has lint and cat hair and fur in the fabric. The cat hair is turned into tight little balls and sticks in the fabrics. I spent hours picking balls of hair and fur off my clothes, sheets, towels etc. I called the company and they said that every ten minutes, I should just take out the rolled up sheets and turn them around and the dryer would turn them the other way and they would untangle and tangle the other way and keep repeating this every ten minutes. DUH !!!!!!!!

My extended warranty expired 6 months ago on my 3.5 yr old dryer that now sounds awful. It’s the tumblers or the belt most likely. Remember when appliances lasted more than a few years. It was never great at drying anyway. I have the matching washer and I have always had to use prewash w/ all cycles for things to get clean. Read up on this dryer and you’ll see it fails around 3yrs old for many folks. Disappointed.

We purchased this washer dryer set in March 2019. This dryer has been nothing but trouble. It does not do its fundamental job - drying clothes, towels and sheets. We have had it for 90 days. The dryer can not dry a load of towels. 3 cycles and 3+ hours and the towels are still damp. The dryer takes 1 hour+ to dry 1 wet T-shirt on high. What a complete rip off! I will be contacting Best Buy for service or a replacement. If I can't get a replacement, this one will have been a total waste of $1000. I'm extremely disappointed with this purchase.

We purchased a Samsung washer and dryer. No complaints with the washer but the dryer we received did not work. Once the steam function was installed all the sensor dry options stopped working. Best Buy gave us another dryer since the first one didn't function and that dryer didn't work either. It sounded like it was about to take flight. Geek Squad sent a tech to come see the dryer and he concluded that it needed a new motor. A brand new out of the box dryer needed a new motor? Was it a crazy coincidence that we got TWO LEMONS. It was enough for me to go for a different brand which we have no complaints about.

The Dryer is great! Too large for our space. Though we did like it, we did not keep the washer and I want the same brand

We had a Maytag dryer before this one and it dried clothes much faster. Not impressed with this dryer.

Read great reviews but have not had an opportunity to use the washing machine since my dec 31 purchase. Turns out the electronic controller is broken and I spent three weeks trying to get an approved technician to show. Please wish me luck as the needed part has been back ordered

would avoid buying unless you want to replace every 3 yrs. Broke down and ~$300 to fix. seems disposable to me. must be better dryers out there.

I bought a 2019 dryer in Feb. Now, it is Oct 2020 and my dryer's control board went out. The part is $200 and of course it isn't under warranty.

The normal setting will not get clothes dry. You have to put it on heavy duty and even then some clothes come out damp. Seems the sensor system wants to leave things wet. Even time dry will time out after a few minutes.
