This is a good camera that has worked well with the smart things app.

The camera will not connect wirelessly. The router requires a 26 digit Security code, and the Samsung camera will allow only 13 digits.

Clear resolution and color. Out dog enjoys the music it has.

The only reason I bought this camera is because I found out the nest couldn't record to my NAS and I read in some reviews this one will do and it also can integrate with my existing smartthings hub. The reality is that the mobile app is in its infancy with a lot of bugs, spotty performance and reliability and pretty much nothing to do with it in the smartthings hub. Additionally I couldn't get it to record on my NAS

This camera is one of the best I've tried so far. It was extremely easy to setup, has a crystal clear picture, and best of all, no monthly/yearly service fees. You do need a SD Card to review saved videos. Using this camera with the Smarthings hub is optional. Some people may be confused by the Smarthings quick start guide which says you require a Smarthings hub. Very confusing if that's the first page you read, but there is a standard quick start guide that uses the app. Installation was quick and easy, with a seemless firmware update. There are a few features lacking however. There isn't the ability to share the camera with a guest. Ideally I would like to have my wife access the camera and receive notifications, but not have access to change settings. I could only give her full access using my credentials. The stand on the camera is also cheap and lightweight. I'm also not really able to easily open the base, which is only necessary if you want to mount it on the wall, which I don't. I'm sure I could open it if I really tried, but it shouldn't be so difficult. In the end, this is everything I need in a security camera, with a few bells and whistles I don't, like the ability to play lullaby's as a baby monitor.

Everything about this camera is just "ok". For the money LogiCircle is a way better option.

The camera cannot stay connected to the Internet and the sound is totally useless. One of the few things that I really need to be reliable and was totally disappointed.

The camera hardware works very well and is easy to setup. But the android software is not reliable or stable, not even on a Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Therefore I can't recommended since the motion notification is unreliable and the image update rate is flakey..

Must register with Samsung and establish an account before you even see your first picture. Samsung unilaterally removed the IP capability from this camera in 2015 with a firmware upgrade. You won't be able to use this camera in a surveillance system.
