Excellent Smartcam implemented quite well. very easy to get up and running..installation and setup instructions quite easy to follow i will like to see Samsung add more control and command features to the app and maybe a firmware update to unlock more features from the device. i currently have two and need to get one more Summary: Excellent device any day

I bought Samsung SmartCam HD because I could not get my Nest Drop Cam to work with my SmartThings System. Now the Samsung SmartCam HD is a very good camera with great details plus it works well with my SmartThings Hub. The SmartCam has a truer color than DropCam. The Nest DropCam is just a little bit better camera with night vision and pinch to zoom capabilities. Now the Samsung SmartCam HD does come up quicker online. Samsung SmartCam HD is better than the DropCam as far as picking up sound.

This camera is pretty good and the quality of the image is amazing. It records in HD. The only thing I didn't like about is the frame color. A security camera should be a hidden one. However, when you have a black lens, you should have a black frame. Why they used a white one is beyond my understanding. Hence the four stars

Great camera. We use this as an extra camera for surveillance. Easy set up and working great so far. Judy wish that it had on board storage, otherwise a 5 stat.

Camera works very well. We haven't been able to figure out how to delete footage but my guess is that is user error :). Would recommend for a starter security system, no additional equipment needed and can buy as many camera's as needed.

Set up was very easy. Works well at night and has a very clear picture. Was a little bit of a chore to get pictures to send to my email. Will be buying three more soon.

the app takes up a bit of memory on the phone Extra or expandable storage is a must. I live in GA and while in Alabama it did take awhile for the app to connect with the device. but ther than that it works great.

This is easy to set up, with options of emailing snapshots, texting snapshots, and ability to view these on an iPhone or even watch live video on a remote computer or phone. The latency of notification is quite low, just a few seconds. The quality of the pictures in good light is excellent, in low light with the infrared LED illumination, it's average. Excellent value for the money.

Great camera great looking picture and video, love how it alerts you when there's movement to your cell phone.

We bought this to take on trips to monitor our baby sitters in our hotel while we were out. It was easy to set up even using a hot spot from a tablet. Did exactly what we needed for a low cost.

I purchased the SmartCam HD Pro primarily because it was the only one listed as working with my SmartThings hub. However, I have not yet been able to get it to connect with my hub. Probably something I'm doing wrong. But the camera is great otherwise. I easily hooked it to my home network, configured it as a baby monitor, and it has worked perfectly since. I use the app on my Android cell phone and my iPad ... both have worked great.

I have one of these sitting in a front window looking out and I get a view of most of my front yard. I have a street light nearby so at night it has a great view. It is an indoor camera and white, so there is glare from the window which I fixed by using black construction paper to cover the white.

The set-up was easy, camera works great and audio is excellent.
