Great product durable and affordable you do need a SmartThings hub to work but I do recommend this product

Great light bulb to begin your smart home setup. But you must have a hub to control it wirelessly.

Got these bulbs they seemed to be a good value, I have had mixed results with them, they sometimes lose communications and stay on, I found some cheaper bulbs at Home depot, seem to perfoem a little better.

I got two of these to put in a fan light fixture. I grouped them together and they work great.

Love the dimming ability and the build quality is nice. Also appreciate that this stays off wifi.

It was very easy to connect. Just wish that the light could be a bit brighter.

The first thing that struck me when I opened the box was how the bulb was the same compact size as a regular light bulb. Even some "dumb" LED light bulbs are bulky and sometimes hard to fit into a lamp with a small shade. This bulb, however, is exactly the same size as an ordinary bulb so it should fit anywhere. I'm impressed they fit all the smarts into a regular package! It was very easy to set up and get linked to the hub. Being a Zigbee device, I was even able to add it to a Wink hub as a generic Zigbee light. However, it did seem to lose it's connection frequently so I'd recommend sticking with the SmartThings hub. The light is bright and a pleasant warm color, unlike some LEDs that can be sort of cold and bluish. From the app you can turn it on and off, or dim it. Pretty simple, but it works. For the price, I'd say this is one of the better smart bulbs available. And it's "normal" size will allow you to use it an any fixture, unlike some of the larger bulbs on the market.

Nothing else has problems with working on network like this bulb. Only about half the time does it obey the Alexa order to turn on or off. "Check you power supply and network connection." I do, and there is nothing wrong with the network or any other device connected to it. This is a defective smart bulb product. Online chat can't help as I didn't use Geek Squad (for such a low priced item). Referred to local store number, as mfg warranty should apply. But on hold for a long time.

I've used Wink for years. This is a far superior system, better integration, great price point.

Now have at least 6 or 7 bulbs! Great product! Trying to build home automation!

Alexa easily controls the light. No problems. I would, hands down, buy more.
