This device only tells you when a person/thing is home or not. Might be useful for pets, but that was not our intended use.

This would not work and didn't do anything it described that it would do.

Couldn’t make this work with my Samsung hub, so I returned it.

Doesn’t work whatsoever at anything unpairs every day and is just a piece of trash that is useless

The hub keeps dropping it's zwave and network connection. Worked great for about the 1st month.

Do not buy this item, doesn't work at all as intended.

It takes forever to be detected by the hub. The worst product from samsung.

Don't waste your time. Get the beacon things app and a Bluetooth tracker

Don't take my word for it. Read reviews for whatever version of the app you intend to use. IOS is currently down to 1.5 stars, and wouldn't be that high if it weren't for the popularity of the older version. Pay special attention to those written wiithin the last couple of months. The V2 release has been a joke and still isn't right even 10 weeks later. Also whenever you see those 5 star reviews online, click on the user name of the person who posted them. You'd be surprised to see how many of them have only ever reviewed this system, or Samsung products in general. I'll leave you to draw your own conclusions.

I initially started building a smart home around wifi, but quickly began to notice overhead on the router. After adding the zwave devices, an arrival sensor made sense for lighting automation. Battery life is the only drawback. Range is great, lost key tone is loud and clear. The only way this item could be better is if it had a rechargable lithium battery.

I have 4 of them since last July. 3 of them needed to get their battery replaced already. One sensor has lousy battery holder so the battery cannot stay in. 2 others, despite putting a Panasonic recommended battery still display low battery indication. The detection is not accurate and you can have to wait 5 minutes in front of your garage if you don't want to trigger your alarm. The mobile localization works better than these dongles. However, one good feature is that you can make them beeping and sometimes, it works...

I have a smarthings hub. And I do reccomend this product. This second generation product has less bugs than the original.

Worthless device. I don't recommend buying it. I use it as a presence sensor for leaving and returning home. However, it won't stay synchronized with my SmartThings hub after I've been away from my home. I have to reset the battery in the sensor and initiate a device discovery on my hub to get it to resync and work again every time I come home.

These are and awesome home automation sensor especially for unlocking my door when my kids get home from school.

Gave to my nephew so we would know when he was responsible for tripping the security system while we were on vacation. We knew that he took care of our cats faithfully
