Not impressed...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've bought many other smart home devices that were cheaper and didn't need a hub that work just as good if not better. I would return it but I believe I am over 30 days now. I thought this would help with powering on my TV through Alexa but it doesn't. My Samsung TV doesn't power on with it using Alexa, and I don't need it to power TV off through Alexa. I forgot I had Harmony hub and remote that would power on TV through Alexa. Overall, I do not recommend.

Poor response time

There were times it would take up to 30 minutes to alert us of a door opening. The sensors kept disconnecting from the wifi. Overall, the performance did not provide the peace of mind we were looking for. We returned it and purchased the nest system.

Batteries in the sensors do not last long

Don’t but Samsung motion sensors

Not a robust piece of hardware
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This unit does not work well in crowded residences with many 2.4ghz wifi channels (condos, apartments). Signals will interfere with basic functionality and give false readings. In addition, I've had two sensors fail in a year. Firmware updates are very frequent and usually cause unwanted behavior with many owners after. Do your research first. Google "smartthings class action" or "smart things upgrade problems" and you'll find the problems you can expect with this unit. If I were to start over, I would get the hub, but NOT the smart things devices and buy Z-wave compatible devices instead.
