Really good motion sensor, works great. Would def recommend it.

I'm using this motion sensor for light control with the Smartthings Hub V2. It can also be used for home security but would not work well with pets :). The sensor works reliably and has no connection issues. It has been in use for 4 months and still reports a full battery. The multiple sensor types built in are worth paying for Smartthings devices.

Ok type for fun, however, not reliable. Doesn't track accurately movement. Battery goes dead in no time. Unnecessarily bought more units without prior testing. I have PEQ (no longer exists) they do job several times better than Samsung branded units. As well they hold excellent battery life. Don't waste money on these crappy product. Build quality is cheap. Giving a 2 star for them being recognized by Smarthings :)

Good product. Set up with a plug timer to have the light come on in a dark stairwell. Only wish the motion sensor had a wider field of vision as you have to get pretty close before it is triggered.

The last generation SmartThings sensor was pretty disappointing. In general, they lasted only a year. This generation of sensor seems to be more responsive and better built. Fingers crossed!

good sensor works as promised I wish it was faster at picking up movement i use as a light switch and most of the time you take a few steps into the dark room before it turns the lights on

This sensor is decent. My biggest complaint is that it seems to have a short detection range. Does not seem to pickup motion that is more than a few feet away. Overall it works ok.

Seems like you have to be very close for this sensor to trigger. If looking to cover a entire large room there are better sensors out there.

I bought it but realized that I need more security needs, so I ended up trading it for an actual camera with motion sensor. For the price, its a good starting point.

It was easy pairing this with my hub. I was a little afraid that it might go off with my dog running around in the kitchen but so far it has not. I mount it around eye level.
