My main goal was to get a bar that would change volume by being controlled by the TV. In the par i had to have a separate control for the sound bar. This works great with my new Samsung Q70 TV. And it has different options for music, movies, clear voice, etc. i got it on sale and is well worth the money. I still have a separate surround sound system for even more sound quality.

I've googled and googled and nothing really comes up. When it's clear, it sounds great but right now there's some kind of interference and I can't figure it out. I've read lots of people having problems with buzzing samsung bars.

Unfortunately, no one (either at Samsung or Best Buy) could help me turn on my older Samsung Sound Bar with the new remote. I could turn the Sound Bar off with it and I needed a second remote to turn it on. The new Sound Bar syncs easily to the new TV and I only have to use the one, really cool, TV remote. So far, I haven't noticed the missing separate sub woofer the old Sound Bar had (the new Sound Bar has it built in), but I don't crank the volume up too loud to begin with.

I can make out what people are saying without having to adjust volume settings which hurt the experience of the rest of the sound. Very happy I upgraded. Recommend connecting the cord to the TV. The Blue Tooth connection sometimes causes a small blip or missing sound for a split second. Probably due to the connection and this may be inherent with Blue Tooth but I wouldn't know.
