You don't like a separate subwoofer. Then this soundbar is for you. Connect wirelessly. Connect through optical audio or HDMI. It all sounds great! Pair it with a compatible Samsung TV and control everything through 1 remote. The only drawback is a shiny top surface that will reflect light from your TV. (By the way, you can add a subwoofer wirelessly if you wish.)

To start with the few good things, the bass is really good for a sound bar by itself. This sound bar is great for listening to music as the highs, mids, and bass are all clear. For some reason, once you switch to movies or TV the sound bar thoroughly disappoints. I would have to sit and play with the settings more than enjoying the show. I couldn’t hear the dialect unless it was on 20+ and by that point the mids were non-existent and the bass took over. It was too much of a hassle to deal with. The step above this is about the same as well and only the flagship samsung sound bar is worth a purchase. If you want one for music, this is A+ but anything else it is a completely different experience.

Because of the price, I opted to get a less expensive Soundbar system that had a sub and was able to buy the surround sound speakers for less than this soundbar alone. Much fuller sound. But if you want to spend the much money on a soundbar system, I'd suggest this soundbar, the matching sub, and the matching surrounds.
