Easily accesible through optical/hdmi etc. Easily integrated accross wifi/Blutooth enabled devices. Crisp sound, good 'Smart Mode' Lacks power for larger spaces (overkill for an enclosed space though). IMO cannot do better for price w/o sacrificing audio quality.

Overall this is a good sound bar. It is very clear and has multiple sound options. It is also very sleek looking. I would recommend getting the subwoofer box that goes with it. Especially if you like movies/action. We had a wired Bose on our previous TV - that was hard to beat. I will be going back to get the subwoofer for this sound bar to improve the "depth" of the sound.

I wasn’t going to spend this much money on speaker, but boy I’m I glad I did. I wanted a complete setup in one unit and this fit the bill. It has great sound and totally compliments the TV. It looks like it is all the same unit. I would but this again, and live the fact it syncs on Bluetooth with my phone so I don’t have to have TV on to listen to music.

I have a pair of R1 speakers but even though many reviews stated the sync with Radiant360 WiFi speakers was a bit choppy, I still decided to give it a go. I tried different setups to confirm which would work better. Below are the 4 setups I tried. 1st setup: 1. WLAN: Adtran modem/router provided by ISP 2. TV: Samsung J6500 Series 6 3. Speakers: Samsung HW-MS650 soundbar and 2 Samsung R1 speakers. I used the Samsung multiroom app to configure the surround setup, and set the input to the TV. It detected the speakers and the sound came out great, however the connection was choppy. They would disconnect from the TV every few hours or so and reconnect after a few minutes. 2nd setup: 1. WLAN: Adtran modem/router provided by ISP 2. TV: Samsung KS7000 Series 7 3. Speakers: Samsung HW-MS650 soundbar and 2 Samsung R1 speakers. Since I had already configured a surround setup with multiroom app, I just set the input to the Series 7 tv. It connected seamlessly and the sound was great as well, however it would disconnect every now and then but not as frequently as with the 1st setup. I decided to use other routers to create the WLAN for the 3rd and 4th setups. 3rd setup 1. WLAN: ASUS 1200 AC dualband router 2. Same TVs 3. Same speakers I configured the surround setup with the multiroom app as well and the speakers connected faster on both TVs. The sound was great as well but this time I didn't suffer any disconnects the whole week I ran the tests. 4th setup: 1. WLAN: TP-Link TL-WR940N 2. Same TVs 3. Same speakers I had a lot of trouble connecting the speakers to the TVs in these setup. After several router restarts, and having to restart the setup several times I was finally able to connect the speakers. The sound came great as with the previous setups but the speakers would unsync from the TV every 1 hour or so. I would have to restart the setup to reconnect. After the tests I ran, I came to the conclusion that in order to have the WiFi surround sound setup with Radiant360 speakers, you should invest in a good router to avoid disconnects. I also figured out that if you have the WiFi surround setup you might want to change the HDMI Audio Format & Audio Format settings to PCM so the speakers can sound louder. These options are found under Sound>Expert Settings. I am currently using the setup with the ASUS router and it works great. The 5.1 channel surround sound comes out crisp and you also get a decent amount of bass. I played John Wick on the TV and was amazed by how it sounded, you could really hear the small details from the action scenes. If you want a great soundbar without the need of a lot of bass, then this is the soundbar for you. I would definitely recommend it.

I reviewed many sound bars before deciding on this one and I was not disappointed with its performance. The sound is of good quality, loud and clear with no distortion. The bar itself is solid and well built with substantial weight and a attractive appearance that looks well on my tv console. There are a lot of sound bars to choose from that are more expensive with more features but this is a very good sound bar for the price with good quality and sound and I am very satisfied. I would not hesitate to recommend it. It is definitely a major upgrade from the built in tv speakers.

The sound and bass are excellent however the system lack volume. I can get the same amount of volume from my tv speaker. Disappointed when I had a party and couldn’t get enough volume to fill the room. Not worth $400

      Hammer,

Thank you for purchasing this Samsung HW-M650 Sound+ Soundbar System.
I am sorry to hear that you were not completely satisfied with its low volume.

Please check the connection between the Soundbar and other source devices, and try the following tips that may help improve the volume level.
      1. If the Soundbar is connected to a TV thru HDMI, make sure to use the HDMI-ARC jack on the TV and select “External speakers” as the TV sound output.
      2. Check the audio output format sent to the Soundbar. Typical options are PCM, Dolby Digital, and Bitstream. Select the option that optimizes the sound from your source.
      3. Change the SOUND MODE on the Soundbar using the Soundbar’s remote. Choices are STANDARD, MUSIC, CLEAR VOICE, SPORTS, or MOVIE. Select the appropriate mode for the individual room acoustics.
      4. Turn on Dynamic Range Control. This is done by pressing and holding the SOUND MODE button on the remote control while the Soundbar is in standby mode.
I hope these tips help to enhance your audio enjoyment.

I upgraded to this after having a smaller, older Samsung sound bar with an external subwoofer and couldn’t be happier with the product. The sound is phenomenal, it works with Bluetooth and its subwoofer is contained within the unit itself - and the bass was better with this than it ever was with the old external sub! My only complaint is no fault of Samsung, but I wish I’d researched it prior...while the sound bar supports 4K pass through via the Audio Return Channel (ARC), Xbox One X and PS4 Pro do not. This is purely a convenience factor in setup that Microsoft and Sony both punted into the stands, but is worth knowing before you buy!

This is my first foray using a sound bar. I read many online reviews before deciding on this model. Went to my local BB to see first hand, listen and play around with it. Store associate was very helpful and knowledgeable. Once home and unpacked it took less than 10 minutes to connect to my older 46" Samsung TV. The sound was awesome! I played with the various different presets and found smart mode worked best for me. Played James Bond Spectre blue ray and was very pleased with the sound. Set up Pandora and IHeart thru blue tooth and was really pleased with the sound. The sound bar replaced my Yamaha 7.1 receiver with 5 Infinity speakers that just took up to much real estate in my living room.

When my wife and I purchased our new 4K UHD Samsung television we knew that the only downside to mounting it flush on the wall is that the rear firing speakers would not give us quality sound. The sales staff at Best Buy recommended this sound bar to give us the quality sound we were looking for. This good looking unit is super easy to control since we paired it with a Harmony remote to control the whole system ( tv, sound bar and Blu-ray player). The sound is clear and crisp and there are multiple settings for sports, theater and music hall genres. With Geek Squad installation and set up it’s an unbeatable accessory for our new Samsung television.

Got this soundbar on Black Friday and for the price, it's simply amazing. My apartment has high vaulted ceiling and at 25% volume, it is able to fill my whole living room with clear sound. Music especially sounds good which is generally an issue with a soundbar. Specs say it has built-in woofer but I don't feel its enough for movies but is good for normal TV viewing. Paired this sound bar with Samsung SWA-W700 Sound+ Subwoofer and movies sound amazing. The base is solid and not blaring and soundbar sounded much better as it does not have to play the low frequency. In a nutshell, must buy since the TV are getting super thin and lacking proper better sound.

We have a Samsung television and it turns out that hooking up the Samsung sound bar and connecting everything was a lot easier. We did buy a set of Samsung wireless small speakers and all devices did sync so that the tv remote controlled sound bar.

Bought this soundbar along with a Samsung 65" TV about two weeks ago. Love the sound that comes from it. Has different modes to better use the speakers to fit the situation (action, music, etc.). Gets quite loud above 50. Big bass sound, especially when playing music.

Sound bar is easy to set up, looks great and sounds great. The clear voice mode is excellent for dialog. There is no external large sub woofer, however the bass sounds very good. This sound bar fills the room and is a great compliment to a Samsung large screen TV.

If you are casually entering a home theatre situation, this will do very well. The add on sub was on point for quality. The add on rears are okay too (sold separately). For the space they take up, very nice. And it is true, you can crank this thing up to 100 and it WILL NOT DISTORT. I've never had anything in my life that did that. 5 stars for that (and for that, I do forgive the two painful issues, Issue 1 - getting the thing, 2 - the app to update the soundbar. If you are hard core home theatre enthusiast, the left right will leave you wanting, the rears will seem "not enough", but to be fair, my goal was to get an upgrade to the TV audio. It certainly did that. Is it a 5.1 system, no, its a weird 3.1, where you have center, rear left and rear right with a sub. And when you stream, at least in my case, your mileage GREATLY varies on what the speakers do. Sometimes there is nothing there because the content doesn't have it. Updating the sound bar did suck, the struggle is real. I got through it, but I'm also well versed in technology, it was about an hour before I had it. The whole, connect to your phone, connect to the internet, build a wireless relationship through a clumsy app wasn't very good. I work with developers, own up to it, the interface sucked. I give the app 2-5. If you are reading this and it was a breeze, count yourself fortunate. That said, it turns on when the tv turns on, it produces amazing sound. It did get my jaw to drop a couple times. Another thing is this soundbar is EXTREMELY difficult to obtain in 2021. Those are the 2 flaws, getting one and the app to update it. They discontinued it. but it is a good soundbar. The reviews about the sound quality are real.

This thing is great, great, great! You’d have to be a read audio snob to not give it a 5 Star. All modes work well, clear sound, bass is excellent (I don’t think we’ll get a stand alone woofer after installing this without it’s great).

The surround setting is great and everyone in the room can hear enough bass with upper limit clarity just fine. If you are a gamer or home theater guru looking for big boom bass sound, then move on to a soundbar that has a separate subwoofer. I did not want clutter and the sound bar had much more oomph than the much lesser ones I bought and returned. It has 6 or 8 speakers inside the bar so the sound is good. Can connect my iPhone to it via blue tooth and sounds great. It also has bass treble adjustment, speech, sport, movie, music selections as well. Most importantly to me...it syncs with my Samsung TV (2017) and comes on and off and is controlled with the tv remote! no need to fumble with on/off and 2nd remote. To me was well worth it. heck, if you don't like you have 15 days to return it.

Sound quality is above expectations although the bass can leave you feeling underwhelmed. The sound is crisp delivering consistency from all types of media. The only thing I think this soundbar needs improvement on is the bass. At low levels the bass is non existent its only when you really crank things up is when the bass starts to kick. Other than that I highly recommend this product for a consumer looking for a high quality sound at a decent price point.
