I have been a traditionalist with regard to setting up a home theater sound system (a receiver with left and right , front and rear, center and sub box speakers). First of all, the package came with the main unit with a power cord, a remote (with batteries), an optical cable, a holder cable, 2 holder foot and 2 bracket wall mount. The user manual came in handy since I have never owned or set up a sound bar before. Its design is similar to the other samsung sound bars with s small LED display inside the grill. The controls are accessible to its right end, using the remote or through an app. As I found out, you need the app to update the sound bar software while it connects via wifi. This sound bar is also part of the samsung multi room system, meaning it connects to other wireless speakers and pairs them together. The sound bar offers a variety of connectivity options (wifi, bluetooth, aux, HDMI, Digital in). Without downloading the app, you can pair this to your tablet or phone by bluetooth (like how you connect with a wireless head phone or portable speaker). In that case, you can stream music through any service on your phone. This “all in one" speaker system delivers a deep base without the sub woofer and very good sound quality in one box. Other notable features are the 4K pass though, built in center speaker (that sounds clear and natural), and samsung compatibility (for recent tvs). If you are looking for a great surround sound with only limited area space for set up, I recommend this sound bar. But if you are looking for a much more cinematic experience, maybe wait until they pair this with a wireless sub woofer to give it more ump on the bass.
