    At $399 I was hoping for better. My thin Polk tower speakers sound better [richer sound] and they only cost $300 for the pair. Not worth $399

    Unreliable and poor design

    I bought this to go with my new Samsung 65" 4k TV. Should work like they were made for eachother! NOT!!! First, the sound bar looks as thought it is designed to fit flush with the TV stand. Even a groove on the bottom of the bar. BUT doing so blocks the sensor on the TV from the TV remote. FAIL! Then I find out too late of the notorious Samsung WiFi is Junk issue. Let me sum up. WiFi to the TV keeps dropping and failing. Even sent it back to Samsung who claims they replaced internal components. No go. BlueTooth at times results in sound synch delay. Junk. Optic Cable? Worked good for 7 months or so, then began getting static and pop filled. JUUUUUNK! Samsung appears to have deactivated the ability to add reviews for this product on their site BECAUSE THEY KNOW IT IS A FLIPPIN PIECE OF JUNK!!!!!!

    This Soundbar turns off automatically and quality of sound is unbelievably bad. I chatted with Samsung tech was not knowledgeable. Now I am out of the return period. Stuck with this Bar waste of money.

    Buyer Beware May be a good soundbar but I can't te

    I bought this as an open box buy in excellent condition. I assumed that meant that someone at Best Buy checked inside the box to make sure all of the components were there. Unfortunately I was out of town when it was delivered and didn't get a chance to try it out until after the 15 day return period expired. When I opened the box there were NO COMPONENTS. Just the soundbar and nothing else. No cables, no remote, no holders, no manual. NOTHING. On trying to return it, of course the time period had expired. I trusted Best Buy to check before they marked it as excellent, but I never will again......... now I have to try to find the components to purchase separately. Grrrr

    Samsung Sound Bar HW-MS650

    Absolutely awful, muted sound. Look elsewhere. I compared the sound from the Samsung sound bar with two small Bose speakers. The Bose was far superior. I am not a happy camper. No more Samsung products.

      Here are a few tips help to enhance your audio enjoyment.
      1. Please check the connection between the Soundbar and other source devices.
      2. If the Soundbar is connected to a TV thru HDMI, make sure to use the HDMI-ARC jack on the TV and select “External speakers” as the TV sound output.
      3. Check the audio output format sent to the Soundbar. Typical options are PCM, Dolby Digital, and Bitstream. Select the option that optimizes the sound from your source.
      4. Change the SOUND MODE on the Soundbar using the Soundbar’s remote. Choices are STANDARD, MUSIC, CLEAR VOICE, SPORTS, or MOVIE. Select the appropriate mode for the individual room acoustics.
      5. Turn on Dynamic Range Control. This is done by pressing and holding the SOUND MODE button on the remote control while the Soundbar is in standby mode.
