We have had this dishwasher for about a year now and it was great, up until maybe 3 months ago. It started out SO quiet we could barely hear it. We'd have to go check to see if it was actually running. Then all of a sudden it got LOUD. Not like "oh, that's loud" loud, like "umm...is that going to explode??" loud. So loud we could hear it across the house with our bedroom door shut. LOUD. Since it was under warranty we called Samsung and set up an appt for someone to come fix it. The first guy who came out tried to tell us that it was normal for it to get louder over time. Umm...ok. No. He left without helping at all. We set up another appt and the same guy came out again. Again, told us it was normal but he was going to clean out something (I can't remember what exactly) and that it should help. He did that and left. Still sounded like our dishwasher was going to take off. Set up a 3rd appt for someone to come out again. This time it was a different guy who said he needed to replace a few things but he had to order the parts. Cool. We can wait. A couple weeks later he comes out, replaces the parts and leaves. STILL DIDN'T FIX THE PROBLEM!! Keep in mind that it has now been something like 2 months at this point. Samsung calls us after we submit a 4th repair request and offers to refund us for the dishwasher since it's still having issues. Ok, great! However, they're giving us almost $200 less than what the dishwasher costs now. Awesome. They say they can't replace it because of inventory issues (even though the Best Buy website says it can be delivered in like a week??) so their only suggestion is to refund us. Honestly, that's fine, it's not like we're looking to make money here. It's just incredibly frustrating that after 3 months, we don't have a dishwasher we can use (a family of 6 with 4 boys use a LOT of dishes) so we're washing dishes by hand, and even if they refund us, getting a new dishwasher will cost us $200 more than the refund amount. The dishwasher itself was fine while it worked, but I don't know if I can recommend it because of the issues we've had and how frustrating it has been to try to get it fixed or have the issue resolved somehow.

Dishwasher is a little flimsy but does the job and is easy to used

Does outstanding job of washing and like the opening automatically when drying to get rid of the steam for a crystal clean load.

This dishwasher is so quiet I sometimes have to touch it to make sure it's running. Dishes are super clean and always dry evenly with the the auto release door. There really is no cons to this product.

Great dishwasher, I love the function that at the end of the cycle, it slightly opens the door to speed up the drying. The 3rd rack is very helpful with those long utensils.

I bought this for a house I was remodeling to sell. I did run it to check to make sure it was working good. It was very quiet. Installation was easy. The directions were clear and easy to follow.

Absolutely in love with this dishwasher, it's so quite while running, i love the door opens to finish drying. It jsut overall looks really sleek and clean.

Our grumpy old dishwasher was dying in several ways, so there was no way for this not to be an upgrade. This unit is VERY quiet, and does a decent job, save for some REALLY baked on stuff that it didn't get from a full load (which sucked to even get off by hand, so no faulting it there, really), but those were the only things not shiny afterward.

I love the quietness and much more . Love the three separate levels . So I can put items that I need extra help from losing in a dishwasher protection. We all love how roomy it is as well

Quiet machine & has enough space for all of our dishes

This dishwasher has been doing a great job getting the dishes clean. The installer suggested I use a rinse agent but have not needed to. Cooking tools clean quite well on the top rack. Plastic lids are better on the middle rack they fill with too much water on the top rack. The only criticism I have is the location of the flatware racks. I would have prefered them to be in the front.

I'm happy with it so far! Looks great too. Note it relies on air dry, which makes sense to me.

Looks great and cleans great as well. Love the sleek look of the black stainless with the hidden controls. Also love that it opens up at the end of the cycle to help dry the dishes.
