The code in Waukesha, Wi. required a GFI.The new dishwasher is plug in. The GFI adds a safety feature since it’s a mix of water and electricity. The Samsung was installed and works just fine. The installers were professionals and very polite.

I replaced my Kitchenaid because this one featured a hard food disposer. So far, I prefer my Kitchenaid. I've had to call Samsung support because dishes are not coming out clean. They recommended a different wash setting, but so far, no improvement.

Even though it took longer to get it installed since we needed some plumbing work done prior, It has turned out well.

I can only wash two large dinner plates at one time, without the center water arm hitting the plate and stopping its rotation. I believe it is due to the third rack. My plates are 12" in dia.
