We did not pay the extra to get the 38 decibel model and instead chose the 48. Perfect. It is right next to our living area and we can barely hear it running.

The "condensation drying" is not effective at all. The way it was explained here was misleading. Everything was wet! I followed the recommendation of using the "sanitize" function and adding finishing liquid, and it helped but not much. So if you are hoping for a washing machine that dries, I would not recommend it.
