Don't buy, waste of money.

While I love having the third rack it's a hit or miss on if it actually cleans everything when I can get the bottom rack to go in and able to wash. Upset that this happened so soon after buying it, have tried to make it work, but will have to buy a new one soon as it's almost impossible to get the bottom rack to go in any longer.

So far exceeded expectations

Counter does not get warm like it did with old one running. The air dry is a great feature and see the storm wash cleaned well. Had some day old dried on stuff and it's clean! Best Buy did a fine job having it ready for pick up and loading.

Here is what I have found and have spoken with Samsung Support twice. First, the washer cleans well. Initially, the first load was done on Normal, but nothing dried. The interior and all the dishes were still soaked. Then I read to also add the Sanitize to the cycle and it did dry the dishes reasonably well. But you can hear (slightly) the washing if you are working in the kitchen. When the dishwasher starts and then after the washing cycle, it pumps out the water. There is a VERY LOUD gushing as this takes place, which can be heard into the living room. I was told this is normal. Finally, when you pull out the main racks (bottom and the middle, not the silverware top) both automatically return into the machine. So, after each item is put into the machine before you put the next item in, you have to pull the rack out again! Plus, when you pull out the bottom rack it raises up about 4" or so and you have to push it down or you cannot put plates into the rack! The last issue I had was with BestBuy and the inability to call the local store to find out if the machine was ready to be shipped. We have been redoing our appliances and as we all know now, getting products is an issue. I had several canceled at the last moment. So, when I tried to call my local BestBuy, I found they now do not receive any calls to the store, everything is sent to the national number and they do not have any updated information on orders! So I had to make a special trip into town to get the order verified for delivery. So, I am not pleased with this machine, and would not recommend buying it, especially for the price, and I probably will not shop at BestBuy again, because they care little about customers after thay have bought a product!

A little after a year the metal door trim started coming apart causing leaks with no way to reattach. Samsung ended up replacing it. Next one had all types of issues with leaks. A few months ago I kept getting error code for a leak. I couldn’t find issue initially. Finally I noticed that in the interior tub the back right corner had folded in causing a gap for water to pass through. Unbelievable! Ended up sealing it with a waterproof sealant and that worked. Newest issue is that washer burned out my electrical outlet. Put it in another outlet and it burned that one out too. Now I have no power in my island whatsoever. Let’s not even talk about the issues with the fridge. Thank you Samsung!

The racks are flimsy plastic feels like it will break quickly. The latch takes effort to pull open and the door is very lightweight so expect to lose balance trying to open the darn thing. I got used to the door but the horrible job it does to clean dishes I can’t get passed. Decided to return and get a different brand.

I have had a number of dishwashers (various brands) over the years and this one is just terrible. It leaves a sand-like residue on dishes, often the detergent door does not open, leaves food residue on most dishes, doesn't dry very well, and has even left milk on the inside of bottles. The utensil baskets don't allow for adequate cleaning of the utensils and they even have worn spots in the racks which have begun to rust. I use a high quality detergent and rinse aid. All of these issues have been happening since the beginning of use and I have had 3 Samsung assigned technicians out to "fix" the issues and they continue. Samsung promised to replace or credit me for the dishwasher since it was failed to be fixed three times and then later reneged on this promise later when it came time to fulfill this promise. I am now stuck with a terrible product and will frankly, never purchase any type of samsung product again due to this poor product and terrible customer service. Please steer clear and purchase something else!

A terrible dishwasher

Dishes must be hand washed prior tonloading and they might be sanitized but likely they come outbwith soap still on them. The machine is anything but quiet. Despite the claim we cannot have a conversation while its running. Also dishes just dont fit and the top rack is obnoxious. So everything about this machine is terrible.

Cleans really well, Does not last long.

From what I can tell from extensive research online is that the "water wall" models have a sever design flaw. The drive motor and components associated with it fail very frequently. If you're handy it's fixable but I've had nothing but trouble trying to repair it. I would absolutely not recommend this model or other samsung water wall models!

This is an upper mid range dishwasher with a lot of the "features" of the higher end washers. Had it for 2 years. It never worked well. Cleaning was poor. If you even think about putting in a full load you can bet you'll be cleaning half the dishes when you remove them. Add the "storm wash," now you have a 3+ hour wash with dishes that aren't clean. I dont understand why it's so bad. Most of my local appliance stores won't carry Samsung dishwashers because they are trash. Wish I would have known this earlier. 2.5 years into ownership I scrapped the washer and bought a thermador which is just an no overpriced Bosch. Cost more but at least it washes the dishes. My single positive about this dishwasher is that it generally dries the dishes well. Opinion: don't listen to all these "5 star reviews". This is the worst dishwasher I've ever owned. Get a Bosch, miele, maybe KitchenAid, or even Kenmore over this garbage.
