I'm so glad we can review this item, first of it I won't give it one ⭐ bcz doesn't have 0.. Let's begin for the paint, first 40 day bcz the heat when all the dishes are washed started to peal. We contacted the wearhouse and they said doesn't cover the warranty .. and from the inside one of the spray arm felt apart from it. I don't mind replace it but the question is? It is worthy...??? Truthly disappointed with Samsung charcoal grey kitchen appliances

Pros: Died just before warranty period ended Cons: Stopped working too soon - stopped spraying water. Tech that came to repair under warranty found a completed unrelated manufacturing defect (that he said is quite common in these Samsung dishwashers). Therefore he didn't even attempt to fix the water issue saying this needed the dishwasher would need to be replaced anyways. Noisy - you can't watch tv in the living room while this is running in the kitchen Cleaning quality - Not horrible but below average for sure. 3rd rack is a joke...almost does nothing Warranty process - Samsung made the warranty process as painful as possible. This was my first Samsung appliance purchase and needless to say, it will be my last. Because of how bad the warranty process was I'll even consider switching from Samsung phones & TVs as well in the future.

Ended up ordering this during the pandemic due to the other dishwasher brand I had ordered being out of stock and delivery continuously pushed back. Have had it for over a year now and regret not waiting or just purchasing an even higher priced competitor. This dishwasher has yet to complete a single run without having to handwash half of the items when it finishes. There is constantly film and dirt particles on most of the items. I've checked the drain line, tried rinse aid, nothing worked glasses and dishes covered in disgusting grime and chunks every time. Save your money and buy a different brand.

This rating is about the warranty issue. The dishwasher did it's job until the tub developed a leak and is unrepairable. I have contacted Samsung for the last three weeks about replacing this dishwasher. I hate doing it this way, but I've tried my best with "chats" and "phone calls", etc. I've had a Samsung certified repairman tell me the tub is leaking and is unrepairable. The warranty says "tub leaking is a lifetime warranty". I understand I'm responsible for labor of the replacement dishwasher, but cannot get anyone from Samsung to say anything other than throw it back to the repair technician. They did their job --- it cannot be fixed. Now, I need Samsung to step up and get a relacement like the warranty says ASAP.

We bought model# DW80R5060us Samsung-stormWash, Top control dishwasher at the Best Buy and start using from Mar.18th, 2020. The reason we chose this because of the Decibel level is 48 dBA which is quieter than 50 dBA that we had before and was very quiet. Before chose this one, we have read all the reviews to make sure and many of the reviews said this is pretty quiet, however, that's not true. We are old and have hearing problems but are able to hear the loud squeak sounds even from outside hose constantly. We can't use longer cycles because such a loud motor noise that really bothers us. We finally called Bestbuy to exchange or returning but they refused to help because it's been a little over two weeks, they said. Most appliance companies give 90 days returning policy but not the Bestbuy, so we called Samsung and a tec. came out said that's the way Samsung makes and don't want to help either because the function is fine. Now, we got stuck with this noisy dishwasher and have to endure every day. not happy at all.

0 Stars ******************************* Best Buy Team was awesome however this dishwasher is junk. I purchased on black Friday 2022. Waited 3 months for the delivery only to have installation fail. During install tech started machine and ran for 5 seconds and poof. Filled kitchen with smoke burning smell. Tech un-installed and still no dishwasher as of 5-10-23. Six months since purchase have no idea if when I will get what I paid for and I am sure the warranty has been ticking down as I am sure the warranty started the day it was delivered but that will be a whole different battle. Save the headached **Don't purchase this piece of garbage!!!!!!!!!

Cleans ok. Nothing great. My old maytag cleaned better.

Ordered a washer and dryer set with delivery and installation scheduled for a week later within a twelve hour window and only the washer showed up because the dryer was back ordered. The washer was not accepted because I had ordered a set. I talked with a Best Buy representative and was rescheduled for a week later. The exact same thing happened two more times. That’s 3 days that I changed my plans and waited all day. With no explanation or resolution from best buy I cancelled the order not willing to but my life on hold any longer.

This an awful piece of junk, it stopped working after 2 years with very light use. Now it cost more to fix than the value of a brand new one.

If I could give this dishwasher a zero I would. I've had it a month and will be trying to get my money back after Samsung sends out a repairman because I don't think it will be able to be fixed. The spacing between the bottom rack rails on the door and the rails on the inside of the washer has a gap that is too wide, so the wheels fall down in that crack when trying to push the rack back in after loading. It takes a strong person to wrestle it out of that crack and into the washer; I cannot even close the dishwasher without my husband's assistance. The spring on the door (I assume that was added so the door will open before the dry cycle is complete...a totally needless feature) is too strong so you have to hold the door down with one hand while trying to pull the bottom tray out.

Started off great. Super quiet, cleaned pretty good. But after about 2 years started having the "3 beep" error on the washer. After googling it found that it's a very common issue. If we used washer more than 3 times in 4 days, we'd have to turn off breaker and let the washer sit for 24 hours before we could use it. After 4 years it started leaking just a bit underneath, just enough to set the "leak" sensor off. Called Samsung, hours on phone with no resolve, and poor english. Replaced it with Bosch and so far, have been very happy. If you just need a 4-5 year washer maybe this is for you. When we first purchased the washer it was $1200+, not happy.

I've had this dishwasher since December 2020. I've had numerous issues. The service panel was replaced within the first 12 months. I've personally fixed several error codes. Samsung makes products that require service but offer a 12-month warranty. Understand that you will be paying for services for the life of this product. Steer clear of Samsung!

Had the dishwasher for less than 3 years and it’s completely unusable now. The sump pump cracked and leaked water into the motor. On top of that we’ve had nothing but issues with the dishwasher before it finally “died”. The soap dispenser broke a year in, and the dishes never really came out clean unless we completely hand washed them prior to using the dishwasher. This dishwasher and my other Samsung appliances are trash. I will never buy Samsung again.

The dishwasher is worthless. After a load, there is an inch and a half of water still in the tub. Moreover, the installer cracked or broke a pipe or valve (I’m not a plumber) and I now have a leak under my sink. I never had a leak there until he installed the dishwasher. He probably noticed it—how could he have not?—but he was in a big hurry to leave. I called about getting it all fixed—I have the warrantee—and was told they could get someone to me on 9/17. Today is the fifth. Needless to say, I am most unhappy about it all. Needless to say, I will not buy appliances from these bozos again. And I strongly urge anyone reading this to do likewise.

It leaked. Warranty service people came out several times and could not fix it. They changed several parts that made no difference - it continued to leak. One service person asked if we washed pots and pans in it. Uh yes. He said the pots and pans were diverting the spray and that's why it leaked. We were baffled by this theory. It is a dishwasher. In the end Samsung and Best Buy did right by us and we replaced it with a Bosch.

Worked great UNTIL lower rack plasric coating melted away and metal underneath rusted and fell apart. New 1 is $153!

this dishwasher and Samsung and Best Buy service has been terrible. WE bought all appliances as a package and this dishwashers mother board has broken twice in three years. second time a few weeks after the extended 3 yr warranty we bought expired.. and its STILL not fixed. Going back and forth between Best Buy and Samsung has been a nightmare. DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG APPLIANCES, THEY ARE TERRIBLE TO DEAL WITH IF ANYTHING GOES WRONG

All of the Samsung kitchen appliances I've purchased have been absolute junk. For the dishwasher, it stopped working and no one could tell us why. Samsung Customer Care only wanted to send a technician out to charge us to look at it. Also purchased a range that had 2 gas valves go bad and a microwave that now has a bad sensor. It also doesn't clean very well.

Terrible product. Dishwasher would randomly lose power. After some research, theres alot of reviews/videos of some defect with the dishwasher. I do not recommend Samsung products.

Save your money! I have had everything replaced inside this trash can twice but it still doesn't work. I am being told it is more than likely a wiring issue that happened while in production. Samsung needs to stick to TVs and phones. Total disappointment... I LOVE wasting money, said nobody ever.
