I got this to use in recording video with my Blackmagic Pocket 6k Pro and I’ve had no issues with it so far. What I also like too is this SSD came with an actual USB-A to USB-C cord for connecting to my computer, unlike my SSD made by Sandisk.

Very dynamic storage device

It acts like a flashdrive but just with a lot of space on it. It's not terribly expensive but I think it's worth it. It's a lot more quicker than a hard drive. I would recommend it definitely.

Great for videos

It works great - the transfer onto this external drive was so much faster than I thought it would be. I am able to move things on and off the drive for editing and I feel confident that they are safe.

Totally worth it

Both read and write make such a difference and we're able to access data much quicker now. I don't think we'll be able to go back to "spinning disks" ever again for accessing data unless it's purely backup scenarios.

Size and speed that you need

Came with encryption software to protect the data in case the drive is lost or stolen. Large amount of storage for all those digital photos that you need to keep. Speed to read and write is very nice as well. I use it to keep copies of all of my photos and electronic copies of important documents outside my home.

Works Well

It has native USB 3 (Thunderbolt) connectivity which helps make this drive much faster than a SATA and one can tell immediately. It made quick work of cloning aprx 400 GB. Worth it. Naturally, I'll have to wait and see regarding durability.
