Excellent choice for me it sure has the capacity I needed for storing my video collection and pictures. It is very convenient and is compatible with my Mac Book. I will definitely recommend this to my friends and most probably buy it again or buy a higher capacity.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It bothers me that they have created a password-protected software in order to safeguard the contents of the hard drive, but that same passworded software does not allow you to take your external hard drive out anywhere and use in any other computer unless that computer has the Samsung software attached to it. That's one of the reasons I gave it a four. The other reason is that Samsung updated its software and the update locked me out of the hard drive the same day I needed to download a video I edited at the Church computer. It was quite a bad experience.

The speed was amazing watching how it handles a large quantity with simply no effort. Comes with 2 attachments that connect it to a phone or the pc. And it is a good name brand. I hope it out does it's performance later on. But so far it's good.
