I mainly use it for extra storage on my Xbox Series S console. I must say. It is very fast and the form factor is also compact. It’s about the size of a debit card. I was going to pick up the T7 instead. But no use buying a faster one since the interface of the console is only USB 3.1

It is my boot drive, running through a USB port and it flies. The internal HD can’t compare and can barely run Mac OS. But this is as fast as if it was installed internally. Changing out the internal drive is tough and this works straight from the USB. Great deal.

Fast enough to view 4k footage on MacBook Pros

I shoot with heavy codecs that take up a lot of space, so after purchasing several 500gb T5 SSD's, I decided to buy one of these to save some Thunderbolt 3 ports on my touchbar macbook pro. The speed of USB 3.1 Gen 2 is really quick, so I quickly found an appreciation for this drive. Highly would recommend for anyone with compatibility of Gen2 speeds or faster.
